The first and always the best in Hattiesburg. Been coming here for 15+ years and they are 100% consistent. I've never once had a bad meal or been disappointed. Delicious and amazing food. Makes it hard to eat Japanese anywhere else in town.
Best sushi is Hattiesburg! It's a family owned place so everyone is very friendly. A lot of my college friends often go out to eat here and get the Cindy Roll. It's to die for!
Had an amazing time at Sakura! The fish was fantastic quality and the rolls were creative. We also had a great server! This is a great place to satisfy all your sushi cravings in Hattiesburg.
Loved the food there. The place looked simple and nice. The service was good too. The mushrooms we ordered for appetizer was lovely.
Solid choice for sushi. Fish seemed to be fresh and presentation was really good. Seaweed salad was typical, which is a good thing. The Mushroom Teriyaki was a little bland, but probably well suited for most folks.
The service was touch and go. Food came out in waves. The ppl that ordered hibachi didn't get their food until everyone who had sushi was finished eating. Wait staff seemed stressed and there were only like 5 tables with diners. FB says they've been in business since 2000. This should be simple stuff by now.
Amazing experience. Very good food and service. I have not been here in years, it's just as good as I remember we it being. Sushi tasted very fresh and presentation was spot-on!

Best sushi in hattiesburg and I’ve tried them all. Now this is the only place me and my wife visit when we’re wanting sushi. Building is dated but the service and sushi is always great.
I have been here several times over the years. Anytime I come to Hattiesburg, I have to have Sakura’s Hawaii role. This restaurant has a hole-in-the-wall college-town atmosphere. This is a fun spot to go to with friends.
The soft drinks have been a little on the flat side but the sushi is great. I’ve never had a bad sushi roll but my absolute favorite is the Hawaii role. The Holly role is a close second.
I enjoy eating at Sakura. Their fish are always fresh and tasty. They have a great staff as well. It is one of my favorite places to eat Japanese food in town. I love the kids plate, they send the rice in a star shape. My daughter love it!!!
