The best bagel on Long Island, a few locations but this one is by Hauppague High School..
I am leaving them five stars but in truth, they probably don’t deserve five stars not because anything was bad, but nothing was great. They do have a huge selection to choose from the food is pretty good. The decor is pretty good. You can make coffee at the coffee bar and prepare yourself, which is a thumbs up for me.
Used Brendel's for catering the morning of my wedding and the morning after. They were so easy to work with, punctual with delivery. Bagels, baked goods, fruit- all fresh and delicious. Guests were so happy. Would definitely order from again.

This place is more than just bagels and breakfast. They have varies Sandwiches, paninis, wraps, salads. Clean store with Parking in front, clean bathrooms, reasonable prices, and friendly staff

Went to Brendels Bagels on the way to the airport today as we were in town from Florida and of course did not want to leave without bringing bagels back home! With it being so late in the day there were not many options to buy bagels so chose this location based off ease from the 495. First let me say, nice clean store with lots of fresh options for salads and sandwiches. However the reason for my review is to give a HUGE shout out to the 2 staff working 8/22/22 at 340 pm! Thank you for being so kind when you literally were closing. It was so refreshing to walk into any place and be greeted warmly. Excited for my NY bagels but more excited for the great service! Thanks again!
Delicious sandwich with side salad and pickle for similar price as other local sub places. A step up in terms of freshness.
7.19.23 update - still quality food and price. I try a different sandwich every time I am there, and have never been disappointed. Try the Greek orzo side salad. Delicious 😋
Excellent fresh bagels still warm from the oven. Nice selection of Coffee too.
