Lucky for all the visitors waltzing through downtown Healdsburg on New Years Eve, Noble Folk Pies and Ice Cream was open. Nothing was open: Not the restaurants. Nor the grocery stores. Usually I wouldn't have walked into a ice cream parlor, but many people were going in and out of the well lit white walled boutique with jams, ice cream sauces and awesome reviews posted on the wall. The boutique was grand. The place called Noble Folk. Creative, unique house baked pies combined with homemade ice cream utilizing mint chocolate mousse served in an oreo cookie pie crust. Custard pies with the taste of butterscotch, pecan pies with bourbon, and the most fabulous mixtures for ice cream; Frosted corn flakes with maple syrup and seasonal pumpkin flavors with added chocolate. I felt so lucky finding the place. I immediately told all my friends about the desserts in Nevada. When I fly with them to the Wine Country, I am going to definitely stop in Healdsburg just to introduce them to the tastes of Noble Folk. Between the spectacular Hotel Healdsburg's dining experience at Dry Creek Kitchen and the bakery across the courtyard known as the Bakery and Creamery, dining experiences like Noble Folk are giving drivers a reason to pull over off the highway 101 to enjoy fine foods apart from the wine tasting Wine Country experience. Almond with green tea ice cream and the exotic delicious purple yam delight from Japan, tourists cannot get the taste of Noble Folk ice cream out of their memory.
The Strawberry Mud Pie was indescribably delicious, with its dense Oreo crust! Oh, my! It’s a Good Thing I live 2 1/2 hours away or I would easily tip the scales every time! A delight-filled and obviously well-loved shop on the Square; so glad we stopped in! Most of the customers were coming in for ice cream, but do be sure to try their incredible pies! YUM!
I hired Noble Folk for my wedding and it was the best decision I could have made!! They made me a beautiful wedding cake, a display of cookies and cupcakes, and brought the famous ice cream trolly. Throughout the entire process, Christian was just phenomenal. He answered all of my questions, worked with me on menu, pricing, design etc, and absolutely nailed it!! From initial booking to packing up everything on the day, I could tell he wanted our wedding day to be perfect, and Noble Folk is a business I will continue to visit for years to come. Anniversary cake? Birthday cake? It's Tuesday let's go get ice cream and pie just because? It'll be worth the hour drive! Thank you Noble Folk for being one of the best parts of my wedding!
After 2 years, we finally made it back.
The line here is always long (weekends) and I thought it was worth the wait. We came back for the pistachio ice cream but this time it’s pistachio with cherry 🍒 and it didn’t taste the same. We miss the original pistachio flavor that made it our favorite.
Best ice cream in town. Great selection of pies and ice cream. Not the flavors you would get at a normal ice cream shop other than vanilla bean. Flavors are great, im a fan of the swiss chocolate and the dutch cookie. Pistachio cookie sandwiches they have are S-tier.
OMG! The ice cream is so amazing. I usually much prefer savory, but this place definitely flips that idea on its head. I wanted to order more!
Interesting choices of ice cream flavors. Hi quality, creamy texture. Very helpful service. Recommend to get a split scoop if you can't decide. I had black sesame coconut and Thai tea. Very nice, then again every thing looks good.
Grabbed a split scoop of the raspberry blood orange and the pistachio cherry. Absolutely perfect serving size. The flavors were wonderful and the ice cream itself was well made. It was creamy and rich but didn't taste heavy like an old fashioned creamery style. Good modern flavors that were still accessible to anyone's palate. Really no faults or complaints so I'd absolutely recommend it.
I took me a while to get to the five star ratings (since it seemed to be sacrilegious to put any ice cream shop at the same level as Bi-Rite) but after my last visit this place earned it. Creamy, amazing flavors, amazing toppings, friendly and attentive service, this place has it all. Highly recommended (especially the "Oreo" ice cream -- it's fantastic!)

But the store is not set up for a good flow at all! People want to be able to see the pies and then the ice cream not just read the flavors. It got very backed up when we stopped in because of the order process. Then after we go it there was no place to sit down inside to eat it. Only 10 chairs and one table when we where here. Yes there is outside seating too, but it was cold outside.
A great place for dessert when in Healdsburg. The flavors of ice cream and pie are unique and delicious. We tried the coffee ice cream and peanut butter whip cream pie.
Amazing ice cream and pie. Had the strawberry berry mix with a scoop of coffee ice cream. The crust was amazing and the coffee so smooth n creamy. The price is more than reasonable for the quality.
