Been here for dinner a couple dozen times now. While nothing about this dinner setting is elaborate or extravagant, there are several factors combined that always send me home with a smile. The setting, the service, the meal options, the staff, and the local well water never disappoint. Some of my favorite meals are the Summit Burger, country fried steak, and their salmon. I'd give these each a 4 out of 5 realizing you're not going to Ruth's Chris. A good value for the $$. Lots of great mountain artwork too. My wife loves sitting by either of the two fireplaces to enhance her experience as well!

Forrest made our visit so awesome and accommodated our large family for My Dad’s birthday weekend. We had several rooms and 2 of them had a connecting door. We were able to stay close to the pool which the kids loved and was open until 11pm👍🏼. We rented an ATV and took it up the trail by the lodge and everyone enjoyed the beautiful Mountain Views. We also ate at the restaurant on the property and got a variety of dishes between the 17 of us and it was all so good! We are there 3 separate times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The general store on the property was also very convenient and let my nephew by some snack at 9:05pm even though they closed at 9pm. All of the staff was friendly. The lodge ad property was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This place is absolutely beautiful and magical! I went there for the first time for my birthday last year in December And completely fell in love. Everyone treats you like you’re their best friend so the customer service is amazing. The restaurant there is seriously to die for, the most delicious comfort food you’ve ever tasted. And the rooms are so quaint and cozy. my favorite thing to do was relax in the lounge area, it’s so beautiful especially during Christmas time. They have a completely decorated to the nines . We went back again this year for my birthday and did another weekend getaway with out the kids, and I was completely just as satisfied as last time don’t change a thing! This adorable charming lodge is my favorite place ever to go! If I could add one tiny suggestion - put a hot cocoa bar in the lounge area where they have a hot tea bar, And maybe clean out the hot tub a little more often there was a lot of sand and maybe clean out the hot tub a little more often there was a lot of Sand in there, but Other than that, seriously perfection!! It is now a tradition and I will be coming back every year for my birthday in December.
