The onion rings were AMAZING! Some of the best I've ever had. You get a good amount of food for the price, the atmosphere has a small hometown feel which we loved and the waitress was awesome! We're visiting and if we come back another time, we'll definitely stop by. They also have live music some days, but we weren't there for it.
DO NOT ORDER NACHOS!!!! Save your money and go to 7-11 for better ones. The chips were stale, the toppings were slim, and the cheese was disgusting, watery, and bland. No one in our party of 5 wanted to eat the nachos. The Buffalo cauliflower would have been better if they were smaller pieces. The rest of the food and service was great.
We were vacationing like to try new spots this was a good stop the philly cheese steak with cheeses and side ceaser salad (keto/bariatric ). had nachos big serving little greasey but that was on the botto. Layer great flavor, had the club sandwich with fries was great flavor very friendly servers fast

We came to try the order by the pound chicken wings. Ended up getting the garlic parmesan & sweet thai. Wings had good crispy texture
Garlic Parmesan: used a grated parmesan dry rub that all collected at the bottom of the basket. The wings had no flavor without it. They need to be tossed in butter first so the cheese will stay
Sweet Thai: sticky sauce & good flavor with a little kick of heat at the end
Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich: good size crispy chicken filet and soft bun. Thick serving of thin sliced ham as well. Really good!
Onion Rings: crispy texture but didn't enjoy them. Had a sour unpleasant taste. Not sure if it was the beer in the batter or something else
Poutine Fries: thin sliced steak fries were delish! Loved the brown gravy with an extra kick of pepper. Crispy cheese curds were heaven as well. My only critique is it needed an extra sprinkle of cheese under the gravy
Chicken Strips: crispy and good size. Would order again
Our waitress wasn't very attentive. We had to ask for silverware and straws and each time didn't receive enough. She was no where to be found most of our visit. Other employees brought the food and took the check. When we left, we saw her hanging out with others in the employee area behind the restaurant.
Overall happy with my visit, would recommend to others. Glad there was family friendly seating for those of us with kids
This is a great spot in downtown Heber with an expansive menu and great service. I had been here one other time and the service was not good; however, my recent visit was excellent from both the bartender and the server. The garlic dry rub wings were delicious and crispy. Salad was super fresh and the burgers are excellent. The fries were like thin sliced steak fries which were really good as well. Look forward to returning soon!
I love Melvins! Their wings especially are great quality. I usually go on Wednesday when it is half off wings.
Their service is slow, waiters seem to take a lot of time and you wait for the food for a while. But all around a good atmosphere and great food. They separate the bar from the rest of the restaurant, so it’s easy to feel comfortable for everyone.
We were on a road trip through Utah, and the NBA finals were going on. We had to find a place to eat dinner, have a drink, and WATCH THAT GAME! Thankfully our search came up with Melvin’s. I had what was arguably the best Reuben of my life, as well as a delicious Pear Ale (OK, I had two.) My husband had a tasty burger and a terrific draft beer. Other fans were at the bar and we cheered together. The service and atmosphere were fantastic! What a great find! Thanks for making our night, Melvin’s!

From the outside a simple bar. The inside a classic scene typical of a sports bar in a local neighborhood. But the atmosphere is terrific. The service was also too notch as well.
But what I wasn’t expecting is the burger. Could it be the best burger I ever had? I dare say so. I mean just look at the pictures.
Be sure to get there early because the place fills up quickly and seating is limited.
Love the atmosphere in this totally chill dive bar! Can you say Wing Wednesday? Yes please!!! We stopped by for an early bite to eat, around 5 pm or so and the place was full with locals. Service was excellent. Great local beer selection. The wings are decent, especially half off! You cannot get multiple flavors, I went with hot Teriyaki, extra crispy. I also ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower. The Buffalo Cauliflower is really not over breaded or over sauced, different spin on what I typically see - I am not sure if it was fresh, but it was a nice change up.
