Bill helped us with our order. We had the shepherd's pie, a typical Irish pub menu item. It was delicious and served with fresh bread and extra gravy. It came in an adorable stoneware bowl. Bill was friendly and checked on us throughout to make sure everything was good. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The prices were reasonable for the portion. Will come back if visiting the area again.
Our waitress was very kind and patient. She had written down our orders and was about to leave to send them in but I wanted to make a last minute change to mine. She was very nice about it as she didn't show the least bit of impatience or annoyance like I've seen at other places.
I really appreciate these kinds of waitresses as they make everything easier for everyone.
Our ordering and wait time was short and our food arrived hot and ready and tasted wonderful.
I ordered the sliced smoked turkey on croissant (I think that's what it was called). It was fresh and flavourful and wasn't over/under cooked in any way.
The atmosphere was moody and rustic like a good pub should be.
Service was great, food was great, and atmosphere was great.
Very good restaurant and I will definitely return again soon, hungry for more!
Amazing classic/modern choices for beer, all the classic Irish whiskeys, great ambience and atmosphere. Not that busy for a Thursday. The bartender was super nice and attentive and the food...wow. I got the fish and chips and Mary mother of God was that good. Will come back once I'm in the area again. The restaurant itself kinda gave me San Francisco vibes since the menu is quite literally written on the walls!
Very good Irish food here!! Actually very surprised how good everything was ad I was expecting pub food. I ordered the Shepherds Pie and it was really good! My wife ordered their boneless wings and fries and both of those were super tender and juicy - 5 stars for both of those! My brother in law had their bangers and mash and it was very flavorful and quite a large portion. Overall quite an awesome place, would definitely recommend!
Fish and chips were unbelievably good. 90% Cod fish and 10% breading! No one else locally does that! Usually the opposite in other eateries. Both the Irish stew and Shepherds pie were exceptional also. If your visiting the area, you don't need to hesitate....just GO! Tell them I sent you🫡
Shepherd’s pie was wonderful. Waitstaff are friendly and efficient. Portions are large. He had fish and chips with the crispy onions. I could have made a meal of them. The ranch dressing is so good. We will definitely stop again to try something different.
Awesome place ! John Wayne gave the best recommendation 10/10 for food and service... . . Please just have a day where we teach who ever is tending to the bar and the taps how to pour a proper Guinness. Luckily. Everything else made up for the poorly poured Guinness. Highly recommend
Best fish and chips I've ever had!!! Fish was great and the potatoes were wonderful: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside! Enjoyed talking to the staff and their service was regular and timely. I'll be back!!! Save me a seat. Michael McDonald no
Absolutely amazing experience and we will definitely be back. It was a little slow getting our food- the restaurant was very busy- but definitely worth the wait. My hubby ordered wings and fries and I ordered Turkey croissant with the potato wedges. Our server was so sweet and was constantly checking in on us and keeping up with refills. This is the type of experience you want every time you go out to eat. We will definitely be back!
I would give 4.5 stars if I could but reserve 5 stars for places that totally knock my socks off. The food was good quality and tasty. The service was awesome! We’re ate at the bar and enjoyed the casual non-touristy atmosphere. We had the fish and chips, Guinness Irish stew , and corned beef and cabbage stew. The portions were generous and we needed boxes to take the leftovers back to the hotel. Strongly recommend
