Arrived right after it opened thankfully, because it did not take long to get packed. It's very cozy and comfortable. The service was excellent. The food was even better. The Monte Cristo is amazing. I will definitely be back!
We had some delicious food here. Had to sit at bar but was fine. Did not know that you needed a reservation. Fast service and good atmosphere.
Listen, when I say they got the best food in town, I mean it. Just stopped her touring through on vacation and man oh man, the food and service was to die for. Cohen took exceptional care of us, shared some info about the area we were staying in and was able to explain anything on the menu. That first bite into the monte cristo burger, whew, just melts in your mouth. If you’re remotely close, make the trip in!
Very nice bar and indoor seating. Menu and sandwiches look delicious however not hungry so just an observation. Cocktails good pour lots of craft beer
My wife and I stayed in Hendersonville for our anniversary and decided to check out Brooks Tavern after hearing they had great burgers. “Great” does not adequately describe the burgers we had! We both had the original burger cooked medium with bacon added. This was perhaps one of the best burgers I’ve ever has! The flavor and texture were heavenly. The fries were quite tasty. While they seemed a little on the salty side to my tastes, my wife thought they were perfectly delicious.

I loved the addition of the special sauce that gave it an extra kick. It was like a party in my mouth! And speaking of parties, the Ribeye steak, with cowboy butter, was a real crowd-pleaser. The meat was tender and juicy, and the buttery sauce was the perfect complement. It was like a rodeo in my mouth!
But let's not forget about the drinks. The "Brooks" cocktail was a real standout. And the bartender, oh my goodness! He was absolutely amazing. He was not only skilled at making delicious drinks, but he was also friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
Overall, I couldn't have been more impressed with Brooks Tavern. The food was top-notch, the drinks were delicious, and the bartender was fantastic. Cool little place, great huge burger with good flavor, chips were good as well but a bit sparce.
The food was fantastic- but dont plan to get out fast. 35+ min for appetizer with entrees right behind. We were quite hungry and trying to keep a schedule so today was a bit painful for us, but we'd go back for sure, just knowing to have the time and empty belly! the bacon is incredible! chicken sandwich easily serves two 🤩🤩🤩 so yum!!
I definitely liked the atmosphere! Service was slow and there was an obnoxious loud woman at the bar laughing repeatedly that seemed to cut through the place like a knife, however, definitely the best burger joint in Hendersonville without hyperbole. I'm from New England but I live in Charlotte, so I'm no stranger to delicious local food that can't be mass-produced. Let me tell you, burger and some giggly water to wash it down, your night is set!
LOVE this place! Came for brunch today before we left town. The Monte Cristo is TO DIE FOR and so big I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. The service is always super friendly and efficient! We'll be back again!
