Stopped by today for the first time before heading to see Ant-man & the Wasp. I had the mocha frio and it was really good! They are really generous with the portion, the small iced drink is 16oz, medium 24oz and large 32 and priced as if they were 12/16/20 everywhere else. Fast WiFi and friendly staff. Was really hoping to try their bakery but I guess we got here too late, less than 2 hours before closing and there weren’t much left in the case. Next time.

I LOVE this shop! The owners roast the beans themselves, and bake the pastries from scratch, best quality I've ever experienced in a coffee shop. The young lady that works in the mornings is always very sweet, the gentleman in the afternoons is very kind and always makes sure I'm taken care of. The owners actually work shifts as well, you don't see that in a lot of places. The atmosphere is awesome, good music and a covered patio for warm days. Will ALWAYS be my go to place!

By far my favorite coffee shop, I come here all the time! The coffee is amazing and the service is wonderful, the baristas are always up to have a conversation with anyone, and I’ve noticed that there are so many “regulars” that have been coming here for years. It’s a great place to hang out and get a great cup of coffee!

Very friendly service, the muffins and bagels are always great. The coffee is not the best I've ever tried but still very enjoyable. Their chai is a different story though, it's by far the best I've tried. Nice comfortable atmosphere overall

Excellent coffee made by excellent people. One of the baristas is actually going to school to become certified. The people here don't just like coffee, they are passionate about it. There are no bored college students here, they actually care about the flavor and aroma and if it isn't up to snuff they will fix it. The atmosphere encourages regulars but this isn't the kind of place that makes a newcomer feel like he or she isn't wanted. I've made sweet Gypsy my go to and I highly encourage others to give it a try.

This coffee shop uses fair trade beans they grind themselves. Their pastries are fresh baked daily and they make their own chai. Their coffee is so good it is served in many local restaurants. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The only thing keeping the rating from a 5 is the shop is really small. Only a dozen people fit comfortably.

Nice quiet clean coffee shop. The barista was talented and friendly. I sampled the espresso out of their classic Astoria espresso machine. Every shot was fresh ground and hand tamped to perfection. The taste was a sweet bitter goodness, a blend with Sumatra and other beans, a perfect amount of crema on top. I also tried one of the pastries and it was on par with what you might expect from a Starbucks, what shocked me was the bill. You could easily go here 3 times for the cost of one visit to the other popular chain, very reasonable prices. Out back they have a beautiful patio made from ancient locust beams. Really beautiful wood work and a joy to wonder at while sipping great coffee. I did not get a chance to try the wifi, however others were working on the laptops with no complaints. If you are in hendersonville and need a place to meetup with friends, business contacts, or just need burn the clock while waiting for Umi to open, this is a great choice!

My first experience... I went in on a Sunday 20 min prior to closing, I was met with and unfriendly barista who seems bothered by my questions and impatient for me to order. My chai latte was luke warm and fairly bland. He was so put out by me that I didn’t bother to ask him to fix it. I’m so disappointed. I was hoping this would be a favorite spot. Edited (added stars) after a prompt reply from the owner.

Unbelievably good coffee! Staff is super friendly and will spend time talking to you, and not just for tips. Shop is super clean and even has a covered back patio with rustic beams and charm.

Such a quiet & quaint little spot! They roast their own coffee & espresso. The owner was so nice and you can tell he really loves what he does! He was so patient and happy to answer all our questions. I'll be back, for sure!
