Absolutely the best sandwich I have found. The hot panini is amazing. It is a smaller shop but well worth the wait as it gets very busy. You can always order ahead if you choose but I like mine as soon as they come off the hot press!!!!!
The undefeated sub shop champions on Hendersonville! For the price of the large sub you are going to pay $4+ more anywhere else. The staff is super friendly and fast! The food quality is great! I and my crew eat here at least once a week! They also have a rewards program.
I travel to Hendersonville once a year for vacation. The Montes sub stop is always greatly anticipated. As someone who has eaten sub sandwiches in probably twenty or more states, I'm comfortable saying that Monte's is the absolute best. Sandwich nirvana. Fresh sliced meats, choice bread, fresh veggies and the HOT PRESS! Cant be beat. Plus beer is available too.
I have the fondest memories of this place went there in 2008-2011 multiple times with my dad and I know that both he and I were very impressed with the quality and quantity of food and know if I'm ever in the Hendersonville area this will be stop number one for food!

I just came in to pickup a doordash order but the environment was very welcoming ! I was greeted so nicely at the door but the owner it seemed like but i’m not sure. It regardless she had everything ready for me and had a smile on her face while assisting me and working on an order. I haven’t even tried this restaurant but i definitely will be coming back to do so soon !

So many restaurants were closed in Hendersonville on a Tuesday night. Luckily we found Monte’s.
We shared a Jedi Order Wrap. It had a generous portion of Turkey, Millennium Falcon mustard, avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and marinated onions. Big enough to share.
We also shared a chef salad. It had the usual ham, turkey, cheese, tomatoes, onions and of course lettuce.
With a big cookie it was about $22.
Cookie was outstanding too.
Location is in a shopping area of a few shops.
The subs cost the same as Subway, and are 7x better. The wheat bread is incredible. The taproom is way cool. I had a Mountain Candy with my Italian today. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra block to Monte's.
By far the best sandwich shop I've been to. The atmosphere was great, it was quick, the selection was great, and the prices were reasonable. I wish we had this at home!
One of the best sandwich’s I’ve ever had. Definitely a craving type of place! They need more of them in the area lol!
