Delicious and authentic! The burritos are HUGE! Very easy grab and go lunch spot! Great customer service, quick and easy. I've had the burritos and the taco salad, both were large portions. The burritos are served with chips and you can pick what salas you want at the salsa bar.
I just sat down, I'm half way through with my burrito and had to post a review. I ordered a steak burrito. I love me some steak burritos and I can clearly say this is THE BEST steak burrito I have ever had!!! They just opened this one in Arden, I know a couple other places tried in this location and failed but I'm thinking with this quality people will travel.
The owner is one of the friendliest people I've ever met. He really cares about his customers and his food. I don't have much experience with El Salvadoran food, but the fried plantains and the pupusas are to die for.

We went for lunch on Friday and the atmosphere hooked right from the start: good music, friendly staff, fresh ingredients prepared while you watch.
I ordered the steak burrito and I was not disappointed. I picked my favorite "stuffings" for the burrito and everything was fresh and natural. My friend had the tortas cubanos (one of the daily specials) and it was totally different from anything I'd seen.
My only regret: I didn't try the papusas!
We found Marys Burritos when we forst moved up here from Miami. We seem like part of their family now.
The food is great and they make everything to yoir specifications. The Burtitps are huge and we always take se home.
The prices are as good as the food.
I love Mary's. Salvadoran cuisine that is fabulous. You cannot find a more authentic restaurant unless you go to Managua. Mary and her husband Jose are sweet and incredibly cordial. This is probably the best Central Anerican meal in WNC, probably North Carolina.
2 kids crunchy tacos for the win. My corn tacos were also very good. Love the different salsas to try. Tried the sample a different time. Yuca, plantains, fresh lime, pupusas.. all so good.
I got Mary’s sampler (pictured) and my boyfriend got a BBQ chicken burrito (make-your-own style, like chipotle). We both really liked our food, and good portion sizes! Staff was very friendly as well. We will be back!
Wonderful, authentic food! Great lunch or easy dinner. Food is fast and fresh. You can get tacos and burritos or something more complex like chilaquiles. I got the Salvadorian Tamales. I was just traveling through, but I would be a regular if I lived close by.
Mary's Burritos is similar to Chipotle and Moe's Southwest Grill, but Mary's Burritos has freshly made homemade foods. Their bean dishes are made from dry beans (not canned), they have homemade salsas, and their meats are cooked and prepared daily. Nice, friendly, family-owned and operated business. They also make fresh tamales and El Salvador foods.
We LOVED the food we had catered for a lunch event at our practice! Everything was fresh and ample portions satisfied everyone! We had homemade tortillas for steak and chicken tacos and pupusas. Our guests were blown away by the taco bar with so many fresh toppings to choose from. Alex and Blanca made sure we had everything to make our gathering a success! We will be catering for more events! Thank you!

After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit hesitant to eat here but I’m glad I ate here anyway!! I got the steak burrito (steak could have been a bit more flavorful but it was still delish), so many filling options (included in price!) and 8 different sauces to choose from at the sauce station (mild chipotle is my fav). Although the burrito didn’t look too big—oh boy was it stuffed! I barely finished half of it! The gentleman behind the counter was super nice, gave me suggestions, and checked on me 10 min later. Will be back again!!
Everything I walk inside it smells so amazing it just makes you feel some type of way. Pupusas are out of this world good. Tamales are amazing too! I'll keep trying more but I usually always want pupusas!! 🤤🤤
The people here are the best! Those women making those pupusas are angels I tell you.
Excellent food!!! I'm never disappointed, regardless of what I order. And the staff is so kind!
