I love the bakers box! A great place for lunch and the desserts are awesome! The owners are great people too! Very good food and a great price. Would definitely recommend:)
This wonderful family is so amazing at what they do! Mara made us the most breath taking and delicious cake for our wedding that I have ever seen! Her husband is an amazing chef and makes the absolute best roast beef sandwich with homemade pickles I have ever had! Love love love them!
We loved everything about this place! The sandwiches were great, the handcut fries were scrumptious, and the lemon tart we bought to go didn't make it out of the parking lot. We'll definitely go back for the fun atmosphere and great food!
It's a cool vibe and some really nice people work here! We hung out for a three hour lunch for my friend's birthday. It was fantastic. It was our first time here and the food was very good. We both love fries and had to try these....they didn't disappoint. The pastry cabinet looked amazing and we went for some chocolate! The chocolate pot de creme......and weren't we happy we did!😀❤️ Would definitely recommend and we'll be back!
I love this place! First, the food is beyond Yummy, it is Yummalicous!! You will be overwhelmed with homemade greatness. I have added pictures of a kid and animal friendly place for both. The inside, kids can enjoy a train that goes around the top as you see all the Legos and a TV with Disney plus to enjoy! The outside your animals can enjoy a bowl of water and a treat if you please. You can sit outside by a flowing creek to enjoy the wonderful food or a fresh baked pastry ...always baked fresh every morning!! I can say that every plate I have tried, has tasted AMAZING! Mara has such a talent with specialty cakes for any occassion. So please come in and enjoy, and let your Taste Buds Roll!!!
I've been living in Hendersonville for 3 years and I have never been there. My wife and I met an old neighbor there for lunch today. I read all of the good reviews but everyone has different tastes. I had a cheeseburger and I have to say it was tied for first for my favorite burger in Hendersonville. The fries were good and the bun was excellent. My wife had the roast beef sandwich and said it was also excellent. I will be going back to make sure it was not a fluke. Again everyone has a different taste so this is just my opinion.
Restaurant has great atmosphere. Friendly staff, really good and interesting food options. Gluten free as well. Outdoor and indoor seating. Seats and tables are new and clean. Great LEGO setups and displays. Running train over the restaurant. Food was excellent!
Get in my belly! I live in Lake Lure and was in town running an errand and I wanted some coffee and morning treats. I did a quick Google and I ended up here. There weren't an over-abundance of items, which I enjoyed. I got a coffee, 2 scones and a muffin. I ate them and thought to myself, it'd be unfortunate if I didn't have something like this tomorrow morning. So I got 3 more items, which is what I took pictures of. I didn't take pictures of the my first order because I was enjoying them so much.
Something cool. There are crazy amounts of Lego all around. I have one of an old VW Bus and was stoked to see it. There are more amazing one than that though.
Such a great restaurant by far the best we have had in Hendersonville! We have traveled here for years and been all through the city and spent 10 times more on dinners that could not compare. We were greeted with amazing quick service the portions could not be better the food was fast yet delicious. So many cool things to look at in the restaurant brought me back to being a little boy again. The chef/owner George is the TRUTH!! I challenge you to find anything better in the city of Hendersonville.
Great choice for our spur of the moment outing! Food was wonderful! We both had Peter Parker burgers and fries. They were cooked perfectly and served on fresh bakery rolls. The bacon was crispy and the Swiss was mild. So good and juicy, you'll need extra napkins! We also had the buffalo style chicken wings. They were great- crispy "naked" wings- no breading- and were moist inside. We got the ranch for dipping which had hint of garlic that was a nice surprise. We always have to try the wings when we try a new place. These didn't disappoint!
The decor is awesome! Fun for fans of Legos, Harry Potter, and Star Wars. There is even a Lionel train that circles the dining room in the rafters.
We will definitely be back to The Baker's Box!
Had the Aphrodite salad amd the fried flounder sandwich. The salad was good but not special. The bread on the sandwich was delicious and the fries were hot and tasty. Left with blueberry and raspberry tarts, plus cupcakes. That is a win!
I can’t think of a better burger In Hendersonville. Had their special with thick (like 1/4”) cut bacon, jalapeño, cheese and the like. It was excellent. My gf got pecan crusted trout with cheesy grits. Also very very good. Atmosphere is super cool and nerdy with tons of legos. No idea why I waited so long to come here.
