I had Sax for lunch yesterday for the first time and it was great! I have to recommend the fries with any meal. They’re homemade and delicious! The sandwiches and burgers are great as well. My favorite lunch spot so far in Hendersonville!
I had the signature ham and cheese panini, it was great!!!! Friendly service, place was packed and our food got there fast!!!
Great place to eat! The restaurant is roomy and has a nice atmosphere. The food is always great, especially the fries. The staff here are kind and take pride in what they do. Thank you guys for another great lunch.

There is a beautiful girl in the restaurant. She has been to many countries and speaks many, many languages, and I look forward to seeing her the next time I go to a restaurant.
This was my first time here. The food was fantastic and the service was fast. A burger, fries, and a drink will run you around $10. Make sure you only get a small fry if it is only one person because they give you a lot. My only complaint is that I ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich and they gave me a buffalo chicken sandwich but it looked so good I ate it anyway and didn't regret it.
This is a fresh specialty sandwich shop. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. I ordered the Chipotle cheese steak sandwich with mushrooms that an employee recommended to me. It was delicious. My wife had a BLT and loved it. French fries were homemade and delicious. Iced tea was top notch. Overall I had a better experience here at Sax than I did at McAlisters. I will recommend this place to friends.
My daughter introduced my visa and to this place a couple wks ago and it is soooo good! We have been back a couple times since and have added it to one of our new favs!!
We love this local treasure. They are in a unique building and have an expansive menu for everyone. The fries are amazing and hot every time we go. Their sandwiches are made to order and come out piping hot. They have a small kids menu, but our daughter never turns down the fries and loves the grilled cheese. They also serve salads and soups. Most sandwiches can be made into wraps. Try this place if you are visiting the cities around Nashville or are a local and want a yummy deli/grill to take your family.
I had the hot brown Panini. Turkey, tomatoes, bacon and cheese spread served hot. It was good. It gets busy during lunch so there may be a line for ordering, but the food comes quickly so don't be discouraged. There's lots to choose from. They have vegetarian and kids options. Plenty of parking. The fries are good, but there are a lot of small ones so I suggest getting a fork for them.
This is an excellent place for great hot sandwiches. The staff is well trained and every trip I've made here has been very pleasant. It's not a fancy place by any means, but the food is very good.
Met a few guys for lunch today. Our selections included both sandwiches and salads. The place is a bit of a hole in the wall and not a huge dining room. They were however able to easily seat our group of 7 guys. I had a Cobb salad (pictured). I asked for them to hold the tomatoes and add avocado. It was plenty large enough with sufficient toppings. Everyone enjoyed their food.
Sax Deli after many years has remained consistent with outstanding food....every single visit. Great job, from a loyal customer.
