Such good food!! Love coming here every time I’m in town! They are always so friendly and kind! The food is always soo good and the perfect amount! Like a good place should be, come hungry and leave happy!

Been going here for YEARS. It’s definitely not a high end restaurant. It’s a hidden gem that you wouldn’t expect. I literally lived off this place when I was in a stage of my life where I was couch hopping and living in my car. Not having a lot of money, there wasn’t a lot of places that you can spend under $10 for a good hearty meal that wasn’t McDonald’s. This was something I could buy and it would last me two-three days with just one meal. I’m a Japanese food FANATIC, but Now that I have my own apartment and doing well these days, I still would pick this little spot over a $40 meal at a different Japanese restaurant.
I’ve met the workers here and they are super hard working! I don’t get to go here as much as I used to bc now I live in near Gallatin but I definitely doordash when I’m needing some yummy teriyaki broccoli and spicy chicken fried rice.
If you’re looking for something fresh, quick, and surprisingly cheap then Definitely give it a try and don’t forget to ask for their delicious house made YumYum sauce! (They also have a drive through)
EDIT: we just ordered some tonight and my girlfriend could not get enough of the vegetables (mainly the carrots). I’m so happy that one of my favorite places to grab a good meal is now one of hers. Sumner County, if you haven’t tried this place, please do yourself a favor and go!

I have never had a bad meal at Yokohama Grill. The food is made fresh and served hot. The portions are generous. The staff is friendly and attentive. I have tried both hibachi and teriyaki dishes and have never been disappointed. My husband loves the shrimp and steak dishes. Best sweet tea around. It's not upscale dining but it is clean and comfortable. From Hardee's burger place to a Japanese restaurant is not an easy transition. The staff makes the restaurant comfortable. The drive thru is a big plus.
Great little place! Very prompt service above and beyond. Waited no time for food, refills right away. Food was delicious also. I had the Filet & Shrimp Special, great prices! Will definitely go back next time I’m in the area!
We were nervous to go in and am glad we gave them a chance. The food was actually really good and the service was really superb. Scott does a good job. He's very fast and attentive and even boxed up the leftovers for us.
I have been eating at Yokohama for at least 15 years or more. The food is always great, but the best part of this restaurant is their one and only server, Scott. He’s so wonderful and always asks about our family. We all love him and he’s one of the best reasons you should dine in this local restaurant. He treats you like family. How rare is that?!
Yokohama has tasty and quick food, with very friendly staff members. Our only regret is not trying this place sooner.
Love this place! I’ve been coming here since they opened. I’ve eaten inside many times and I’ve also gone through the drive-thru, both ways have been great. Their prices are very fair and they will prepare the food specifically like you ask them to. Like, I only want broccoli for my vegetables and that’s what they will do. Love the Miso soup, ginger dressing on salad and teriyaki chicken with vegetables and fried rice with egg added.
Stopped for first time on a rainy night...excellent service..everything delicious..and never been served faster! Our waiter was outstanding and was on top of everything. We will goback for sure!
