We tried a lot of dishes between friends here and everything was good. Shrimp appetizer was delicious. Fish tacos, chicken wings, pork chop with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts, finished with a molten lava cake that was rich and chocolatey. We ate outside by the water and enjoyed the nice weather. Only negative was the pork chop was too charred on the outside. Inside was still tender and juicy though.
Great time today at the Rudder! Fern was a Fantastic server! He took good care of us and made sure our special requests were taken care of! Beautiful day at a beautiful place! Always a good time there. Food was great too!
After teaching Real Estate and showing property I stopped in at The Rudder in Hendersonville on the Marina to meet Irena, her husband, my husband and Katrina for a early dinner and business meeting. Great food, oysters, chicken wings, shrimp, ahi tuna, Nashville Hot Chicken Salad and chocolate lava cake. 😋 😋 😋.
Our experience was wonderful, and we plan on returning. We enjoyed the outside view while watching Sunday football. The service and food was great!
We sat outside on the patio which was wonderful. Service was great and the atmosphere is perfect - it'd be especially ideal on a nice, summer day. It sits right on the Cumberland River by the marina.
We had the crab dip, maui waui shrimp tacos, fish tacos, and fish and chips. The tacos were great. The fish and chips was alright but not the best we've had.. a little over battered and not much fish. That was the only downside. Otherwise, great spot. We will definitely be back!
I was reluctant to write this review because I need a table. Lol. (But I'm serious) I have yet to taste a dish that I didn't enjoy here.😋 The staff is professional, inviting and welcoming. Overall the clientele is pleasant and tasteful as well. You can catch pleasing live outdoor music some evenings. Great for date night, a family dinner or group event. Think waterside breeze beneath a starlit night coupled with the pleasant low murmur of conversations and light laughter with enjoyable music floating over the tinkle of glasses and silverware. Pair all with little sparkling lights and good company for warm memories ✨️
The One-eyed Jack! Possibly the best bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg that I’ve ever had. Great atmosphere. Very nice and friendly staff. Matthew was our waiter and he was amazing. He made some great recommendations on food and was very prompt and professional. We will be back for sure!
Had a good meal here the other night, friendly staff & some great live music. A great view from our table as well.
Very nice hide away with good food. Our 1st time there wasn't great. We had a ginger young man that seemed to not wanna be at work, because I don't wanna think he just didn't want to serve us. We decided to give it another shot and the service was great, which made the food even better. As they say customer service goes a long way and make you want to return. They even gave us Cheerios to feed the ducks, turtles and fish. It was a great experience.
We enjoyed our dinner at The Rudder very much! Service was a little slow but the food was amazing.
