I had lunch here with office colleagues. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating arrangements. Then I ordered one of the bento box which contained saba shiyoaki, cali roll and pork gyoza. It came with regular wassabi and ginger slices. I liked saba shiyoaki. It is grilled mackerel. There sushi was good too. Overall it was a good experience.
Love this place. Awesome sushi, always fresh and great service. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that loves sushi or is trying it out
I was reluctant to try this place because of some of the reviews but the prices seemed reasonable and the pictures looks appetizing. Staff were not rude as done have said, rather attentive but in a different way. They were incredibly slow despite being only at about 75% capacity but did acknowledge us waiting for our order to be taken. Beverages were refilled promptly as well. The food was pretty good but still fairly average. Rolls were constructed well and held together.
Great food! Great service! Do Not leave without trying the salmon collar! Best part of the fish.
One of the best in town. I don't know what everyone else is complaining about. I've been to Yuki loads of times and the staff is very sweet. I think they have some of the best sushi around, although it can be hard to compete with Syun. I prefer Yuki myself. Some of their rolls with cilantro are just to die for! It can be hard to find sushi rolls with not so standard ingredients.
I like this place. I ate here twice - first meal was the chicken lunch teriyaki; it was Ok, too much sugar but Ok.
Last night was the second time I visited Yuki and I ordered basic sushi Nigri which I prefer over many of the rolls that are so popular. Had Hamachi; Maguro; Saba and Salomon - it was great!
Saba is my favorite and I often judge a Sushi restaurant on how Saba is presented - it was excellent, I wish I had come here more often during this visit to Hillsboro - the waitresses are friendly and attentive, the cooks are friendly and efficient - I will defiantly be back even though I will be here only a couple of more days.
Sushilicious!. Yuki's sushi is, to say the least, PHENOMENAL! The restaurant is small but very cozy. The staff are very nice and our favorite chef "Scott" is a sushi madman! We have never walked out of that place hungry! The presentations are beautiful! The baked lobster rolls are to die for and the spicy crunchy tuna rolls are superb! Try the octopus salad for starters you can go wrong. It's a little pricey but oh sooo worth it! On a side note, they also have a very nice sake list that will impress even the more seasoned sake lover!
Makes me feel happy.. This restaurant has a real mom and pop feel to it.. If my parents were Asian that is. The rolls are very good, and very well priced. The restaurant is pretty and the chefs are extremely friendly. It really makes you feel at home to be here.
If I lived closed to Orenco, I would come here everyday and I bet they would remember my name and order. That's how good the service is.
The only downside to this restaurant is that its not really a good date place. The seating is side by side like at a Saki bar and the few tables they have are more for family's. So, you don't really have any sort of intimacy feeling here, just a laughing good friendly feel.
Pretty good sushi for the money!! Thought the nigiri was excellent. The rolls were good not great.

Great service, sublime bento box. I saved the fine-looking sashimi for last, and accompaniments didn't disappoint either. Tempora batter was crispy and crunchy. Shrimp in tempura batter was tender, and even the tempura broccoli was blanched to perfection - slightly toothy, never mushy. Gyoza was slightly crunchy on the outside, slightly chewy just beneath the surface. Nine lovely pieces of mixed sashimi finished off a great meal. Perfection!
Almost forgot - the carrot-based dressing on the starter salad was exquisite too!
This may be my new favorite sushi spot. First visit there last Friday and the sushi was amazing. The Flaming Jack roll is a must for that smoky, seared flavor, crunchy asparagus and unagi sauce but all of the rolls we ordered were tasty. They have so many special rolls that it's going to take a lot of visits to get through them all. I'm OK with that.
The place was clean and was greeted quickly, my server was very friendly and attentive. I am new to sushi and asked for recommendations and was given great recommendations and food was tasty and fresh. Overall ambiance is nice and perfect spot for lunch or nice date.
Had no expectations but ended up being very good ! Good quality fish too.
Ordered a Tempura Udon for takeout. Nice portion size, and their udon is great!
Yellow Tail Kama, Green mussels and Seafood pancake were all awesome.
This was my first visit, but won't be my last.
Can't wait for them to be open for dine-in.
