Lunch time stop on a Saturday and they had a steady stream of people but no waiting for a table . I had the chicken and kaluha pork. Loved the chicken. Sauce was great mix of some tang and sweet. Pork was good but not great. Wife had garlic shrimp. The shrimp were overcooked but the sauce on the rice was fabulous. Huge slivers of garlic. We liked the food.
Best Hawaiian period.. I have eaten at several Hawaiian restaurants and I always compare it to this place. Unfortunately for the other places, I find myself in disappointment because Hawaiian Kine BBQ has the best chicken/sauces/ mac salad around! I've been eating here since 2006 and will continue to eat here.
Okay okay....the BBQ chicken is ono-liscious. It tastes just like it came straight off a true plate lunch from the islands. Tender and melts in your mouth...however, how can you have "da kine" plate lunch without potato-mac salad...the mac is good, but it's not the genuine article...ono grinds for sure though!
Awesome Hawaiian - good everytime I've been - the kalua pork is my favorite - the best anywhere
The food here is pretty good. The only real criticism that I have is the meat pieces on the chicken and beef are way too big to eat and the cheapo fork they provide does not cut the mustard so to speak. I hope they read this and fix it, because it is a good place for a quick bite. Highly recommend.
Not bad at all. They where pretty quick and the food was good. I would def come back and eat here.
It is a little bit more expensive but the food was great, I have always dreamt of eating a Loco Moco and now I did! It was a great atmosphere and you can tell everything was really fresh. If you love Hawaii but can't afford to go there, you could come here instead. I highly recommended this place.
Love this place. My favorite is Uncle Biggie and Uncle Brudda. Price is good for the amount of food. The waiting time if you don't call ahead, also is good!

Uncle Biggie, Chicken Kitsu; delicious. This place has always been delicious. And that Mac-O-roni salad is off the chain. 2 extra scoop is always neccessary for me when I come here and I have been coming here since 2008-09
I have been coming here since high school, about 10 years now, and they are amazing! From the katsu to the Diamond Head plate to the chicken teriyaki. They are superior to 808 Grinds or Roxy's; hands down, you need to go!
A good local Hawaiian joint. Will go again.
