The food is delicious. I had the chile relleno it had a beef, cabbage, and carrot filling. The batter for it was well salted. I also recommend trying the drinks and if you like banana flavored things try the platano drink. Also their tamales are so good.

I've been here a number of times now and everything on the menu is fantastic. The soups, the pupusas, the tamales.. everything. And they have great Latin American beers. But the best: great people. This place is perfect.Such a good place for a quick lunch, and good food. The decor is very authentic and the service very friendly. I hate that the bread is right there just staring at you, it's hard not to take one to go.

Delicious traditional Guatemalan food. Their Hilacha was amazing. I believe it's better to go around lunch time to get their full menu as they tend to run out of certain dishes later in the day.

Los chapines has delicious food! Good authentic Guatemalan breakfast at a great price. Large menu of lunch and dinner meals as well. Great service, everyone there is really nice. A big variety of Guatemalan sweet breads and snacks/candy from Guatemala that are hard to find here in Oregon!

This place is awesome! Yeah, it's tucked away in an odd spot between a liquor store and a video poker den, but take the plunge! Amazing authentic Guatemalan dishes at very reasonable prices, and a really friendly staff. We had the garnachas, rellenitos, pupusas con puerco y queso, and the paches. Everything was seriously outstanding, but the pupusas were the best I've ever had. The paches though were incredible!! If nothing else, go and have one of these ridiculously exquisite soft steamed-in-a-banana-leaf tamale-style wonderments!! Incredible food, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back again and again.

I recommend Paches. Jamaica juice. The prices are very reasonable and the food is excellent. They even have a small grocery store with items from Guatemala. It's worth stopping by for a few items and a great lunch or dinner.

Delicious, authentic Guatemalan dishes. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Cheerful music. International soccer games on two screens. Best platanos fritos (fried plantains) in town. Also a nice little selection of Guatemalan groceries, handicrafts, and soccer jerseys.
