We just discovered this restaurant at the beginning of the summer. After having a couple unpleasant experiences at the steakhouse we'd been going to before we set out to find a place that wouldnt let us down in regard to quality of food prep, staffing professionalism, and ambiance. After a few places we lucked onto Orenco Station grill.
We have had a big birthday party there, a big family dinner, and we go there for our private date nights. Each time we've totally enjoyed ourselves.
What we so appreciate is the staff - they are polite, show up when you need them, but not to often. We never feel rushed; they dont make you feel like they are just trying to turn over the table. The food quality and prep is great. We are so glad to have found this place.
So my wife and I and my mother in law went for the first time. We loved it so much. I will recommend this place to everyone. We are very happy to help support the local community.
A very enjoyable evening. The service was prompt and friendly. The food and drinks were great and reasonably priced. We sat on the peaceful outdoor patio with beautiful weather. The Orenco neighborhood is accessable and had a number of good restaurants.
Absolutely amazing! One of the best meals I have had in a long time. I highly recommend the crab cakes, clam chowder, shrimp pasta, and lamb chops. We paired our meal with the Erath Vineyards Pinot Noir. Great atmosphere, lamb chops were cooked to perfection and I definitely plan to return in the near future with my family.
The place was nice and enjoyable. The lamb was medium rare like I ask for and perfectly seasoned. I got butter rum for the first time and it was great. Also their cheesecake was very rich and I do recommend that.
The only minor complaint I have is with the lamb, there wasn't much meat on it. I know that's kinda to be expected with lamb sometimes, I'm just slightly disappointed I didn't get to have a bigger cut to enjoy. Not enough of an issue to dock a star in my opinion. Things can happen and they might not have had bigger cuts which I get. I'm happy they had lamb at all! So if you wanna risk it incase my dish was a fluke go for it. The taste was still pretty good.
There were 4 of us for dinner. We all really enjoyed the food!
The service was really great. One of us even had a rather complicated order, but the server remembered everything perfectly.
We will definitely be going back again!
good food, atmosphere, and staff. braised beef was tasty but a bit dry, ribeye was more medium than medium rare. service is prompt and friendly. portions are generous. awesome place to take a date
