I love calzone, but too often they're dry, with a bland tomato sauce on the side. The feta, cheddar, and mozzarella calzone at New York Pizza was moist, flavorful, had a crunchy crust, and was served with a side of tangy marinara with just a touch of spice. I liked the sauce enough I got another little cup of it with my to-go.
Until I revisit from time to time, I forget just how crazy good the food is here. Delicious, fresh food and extremely friendly service, it's a true gem in the Edgewood community. Stop here for pizza and enjoy the convenience of not one, but two, ice cream shops within walking distance for dessert when you're done. Enjoy! (You don't have to thank me...)
I've been eating here for years. Pizza is good. I tried one of their calzones for the first time about 2 weeks ago and it was good.
No real complaints. Service is usually straight forward. I haven't had a bad experience with anyone when it comes to the service. Pizza and Calzones are good. Keep in mind that I normally order take out.

Lots of variety here. Located in a very trendy area of Homewood. Called in a lunch order. It was ready when they said it would be. Piping hot. Thin crust was a tad soggy from the thin pizza sauce. Lots of really good me at. Fresh Italian sausage. Tasted great but I prefer really cracker crispy crust. I'd eat there again but I'd eat in.
The pizza here is pretty good. I like to order it whenever I am in that area. Their pizzas have great flavor and don't taste like bland cardboard. They have a good variety of pizzas. They also have a great selection of beer on draft with several local and craft beers. The prices can seem a little high for some of the pizzas but this seems to be a case of you get what you pay for, and the quality of the pizza definitely shows. Worth stopping by if you are in the area.
First time here. Good experience. Really great pizza with lots of options. Good beer selection and good service. Definitely going back.
