The Cottage on Dixie is a pleasant surprise. We were meeting friends who live far Southwest and this was half way. The food was top quality and fresh; the restaurant focuses on farm to table. What was most impressive was the attention to service. Management came over to the table and apologized for the quality of the service. If there was anything wrong, we had not noticed. We had a wonderful meal and were very happy,
We have never been disappointed with the food or service. My family celebrates many of our special events here (birthdays, graduations, anniversaries) or just the occasional "I don't feel like cooking" meals. We are fortunate to have such a great restaurant close by! Great drinks too!
My husband’s favorite restaurant! A bit pricey, but very unique items on the menu. Menu changes seasonally. Great drinks. I love the ambiance! Looks like a log cabin or a ski lodge on the inside. Outdoor seating available. We went one time when they were doing a pig roast outside. Very unique experience.
The ambiance of this upscale, chic little place is wonderful. There are healthy and vegetarian options, which are delicious. They have a greenhouse in the back where they grow some of their own herbs and they use local sources for food. The prices are great for the lunch menu which runs until 3pm. It's refreshing to have such a good neighborhood restaurant to visit that's not part of a chain!
Wonderful dinner! Farm to table restaurant with fantastic house made cocktails. I had the hot one which was delicious. They gave us complementary house made crackers with their strawberry jam (as pictured below). Portions are very large so you won't leave hungry. I would definitely recommend coming here for dinner.
Warm wonderful ambience. Comfortable, intimate , relaxed yet upscale enough for that meeting with that big business account.
Their drinks alone are worth the drive, even through snow. Their chef never disappoints preparing delectable farm-to- table delights.
