Food was good, exactly what I ordered. Loved that they put all the dipped beef sandwiches in a plastic bag.
It was nice to hear the manager appreciated his employees and thought they were doing a good job, but it didn't need to be announced on the intercom, especially when the customers didn't feel the same way. Service was very slow for the amount of people working.
Yes I will be back. Yes we enjoyed our food. Yes I did miss the corny sayings when they call out the numbers.
I am new to Chicago and also new to all the delicacies here and when I tell you I was blown away by the food here believe it !!! THIS place made Me a believer! I never in my life I would imagine that an Italian beef would tastes better than the Philly cheese steak but in here they know what they're doing!!😋 They even got my picky eater 10 year old to eat it and she calls it," the soggy Sandwich" but little did she know that having that juice that's what makes that Italian beef so tasty! Wow! I am definitely a believer now Chicago has the best food hands down across the nation and I've been plenty of other places I can't wait to go back to this delicious Chicago staple!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏾👍🏾😍😍😍
This was my first time at a Portillo's and I have to say I really enjoyed the food. The service was decent and the wait wasn't terribly long considering it was a very busy Saturday. If you like hotdogs, you can't go wrong here. Even the burgers are good. It has definitely caused me to want to try them again the next time I'm near one.
This is my first visit in Chicago. Really enjoyed the Mitchell. The onion rings were okay, but nothing special. Also had a chocolate malt, and it was very reminiscent of ones I had as a kid. Overall, I truly enjoyed it.
