Great toned down version of Indian food. We had the tandoori chicken sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. Both were good but the chicken was way better in our opinion. The kids split the chicken 25. It was quite delicious. They gave us cardimum cookies for dessert too!
Great decor, lovely patio, and AWESOME drinks. The food is plated well and tasted amazing. So many tasty options but not so many that you have a nervous breakdown. The menu items are gourmet authentic and served hot. Being an Indian restaurant, spice is common place. Which is done with great balance and delivered very well. The ice creams, their names escape me, but the flavor does not! You have to try them unless you have a nut allergy. In that case, keep your epi pen in your non eating hand. Ask for Jefferson, he is a phenomenal waiter.
I had the crab samosa and fish steamed in banana leaf. 👍🏾👍🏾
This is my first visit to an authentic Indian restaurant here in Houston. The interior and its surroundings is very upscale and so as the price. We ordered crab samosas, patra fish, and goat masala. While waiting for more than 20 mins for our main dishes to arrive, we were served with some free appetizer. I really love most of the dishes except patra fish which I think is too mild. I would say this restaurant style is more towards Northern Indian style. If you want something spicy, just inform them at the time when you are ordering to avoid disappointment. Indian Mysore Harley tea is nice ending for the meal. And yes, we got free cookies again! I'm a happy girl :)
