Phenomenal food and service. Came for lunch and found the dishes to be both delicious and affordable. For about 13 dollars, I got bread, hummus, lamb kabob, and rice. My waiter was very friendly and so was the person who greeted me at the door. I felt very welcome and their uplifting personalities brightened up my day. The restaurant was also very clean and I enjoyed the decor
Salam! This halal restaurant was excellent! A lot of the meat options are lamb just so you know! The meat was tender…even my family that doesn’t eat lamb agreed it was great. The chicken was juicy. the rice was delightful. Our appetizers which included fattoush salad, lentil (next level) and fuul were so good. We tried the hummus with meat (beef) on top and it was great. We kept asking our waiter to bring more bread and he was happy to help :)
We ended our superb dining experience with Arab tea and kunafa which was AWESOME. A bit of a wait because it was made fresh. Phenomenal kunafa which is a specialty of this restaurant.
Also: mint lemonade was tasty according to my mother in law :)
Highly suggest for anyone in Houston! We visited from out of town and will be back next time we’re here.
I ordered the beef shawarma and the hummus as a side. This by far is the best hummus I have had! It is extremely smooth and full of flavor. The shawarma was delicious as well the meat had a great taste and I loved that it wasn’t stuffed with a tone of sauce and extra stuff so it has a more natural authentic flavor. Also, such a beautiful restaurant and the service I received was fantastic. Definitely recommend.
Enjoyed our visit here. Food was tasty, and service was fast and friendly. The fruit cocktail drink is probably one of the best we’ve had in years (real fruit in it and almost like a dessert…very good!)
Love the new place much more than the one before. The staff is nice and welcoming. Almost everything on the menu is now wood fired which is the best thing they could have done to their already great food. No other restaurant in Houston (and I mean it) has better naan. What I personally liked the most about their new place is the pictures of the GCC countries on a wall which transported me back home! Lastly, they also provide free copies of Qur’an translation which is very thoughtful.

Saber is very courteous and accomodating. Keep up the good work!
We loved everything we ate. Very flavorful and felt like we are back in Dubai. The atmosphere and the theme of the restaurant is very Meditterenean.
We will defintely come back and try all the other dishes.
Shukran Katir!
I recently visited the newly relocated Sayyad Grill on Eldridge and Westheimer. The food remains outstanding, but they've certainly stepped up in terms of presentation. The parking situation has also seen an improvement. We went there for an office lunch, and the ambiance was delightful.
We indulged in their Mediterranean offerings, opting for the family platter, grilled chicken tikka, and hummus. Highly recommended!
Came here with my family and absolutely loved everything. We had the mixed meat platter as well as the seafood platter. Food was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our server Mr. Saber had excellent knowledge of the menu and was attentive and kind. Oh the drinks!! We ordered the freshly made juices and they tasted just yum!! Will definitely be back.
Wonderful food! Will be back again for sure! We enjoyed the Red Snapper and mixed grill family platter along with the Hummus and sides.
The food here was some of the best mediterranean food we’ve had! Sam was a great server and very helpful and kind. Amazing dining experience
