Monterey's Little Mexico at greenpoint drive is a happening place to grab some quick bites, the restaurant as the name suggests serves all mexican fare and is very lively on the ambience.
The service could be a bit faster as we waited for almost a good 10-15 mins before our turn to order. They provide nachos with two dips in the meanwhile to munch and decide on the menu and maybe because of that they take time to return for taking orders. However as soon as the order was taken it was served very quickly.
The taste was good, however I found the salt on the higher side and having melted cheese added more to that experience. Beans and rice were good in taste.
I think our waitress said her name was Minnie (I hope this is correct). She was fabulous. She took extra steps to take care of us. We were traveling through and I found this place online. So glad we stopped! Our dinners were delicious, the service was great, and nice atmosphere. They also have 2 types of salsa to bring out with the chips. We will be back for sure.
I have been searching for ground beef nachos, not fajita beef. I thought they hadn't put enough meat at 1st. I think they put a large scoop in the middle, because it was in there. I will still ask for extra beef next time. Along with some great tasting tacos. 😋 Called my order in during a busy Friday holiday weekend, lunchtime. My order was still ready in 20 mins. They could use more help at the front, the older, very respectful gentleman on duty was great.

Overall I had a great experience, the waiters were amazing, literally no wait time. Was my first time there, and I enjoyed every minute of it. A great place for fast enjoyable meal with a great atmosphere.
My friends and I have frequently eaten here. My husband wanted to try it out and I obliged. He was very impressed because he loves Mexican food. He normally doesn’t eat many chips and salsa but he said it was so good, he asked for a second round. The overall experience was great
Every time I come from Indianapolis to Houston we go here best food ever they're tilapia was absolutely amazing.
We ate here on a Sunday in between games at a baseball tournament. They were able to accommodate 5 families from our team. The food was tasty and it was served quick enough to get back to the fields to warm-up for the next game.
COME SEE CAMERON he absolutely gets all the stars!!! He is an amazing waiter with such a positive energy. He is so nice and helpful. He appreciates every guest that comes in and he tells you. Even before I could ask, he would offer suggestions with the menu. The food was good too! He suggested the $5 flight and suggested other flavors in case we didn’t want was on the picture. I had beef fajita tacos, my husband had enchiladas.
The food is always great, delicious, and good. I ordered the Monterey Sampler and a glass of water no ice.
