I ordered the chicken soup and sandwich. It was reasonably priced and it’s the perfect weather now to sit outside on the patio. The tea options are really good and taste amazing. Place was clean and I enjoyed eating here. I recommend to others.
I work a block from here so I visit for lunch. I like the lunch variety but the breakfast not so much. The wait time for your food during lunch is not so long, you can get your drink and condiments and then your food should be ready. I've never had a dish I didn't like so far. The pineapple tea is really good and I love how they have the mix ins for your tea. i.e. mint, orange slices, lemon, etc.
Clean bright interior with quite a sophisticated fast food menu. Counter service only except at the bar for drinks. Food is prepared quickly for counter pickup. Great salads and soups, pastas and roast chicken. Many swear by the big juicy burgers as well. Comfortable for early evening dining as well as lunch.
It's far too rare a day when you get to enjoy the outdoors with no humidity here in Houston. But on those rare occasions when the weather is right, I love hanging out on the patio eating lunch at Cafe Express. The food is good, the choices are many and if you enjoy people watching, this is one of the prime places to do so.
I love going here. Their salads are very filling and plenty. I also like adding my own options at the toppings bar. Love taking advantage of that! They have mint and lemon for your water.
One of my favorite locations for cafe food. I had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here. Ambience is similar to Fresno's scene.
Healthy variety of tasty dishes, automated delivery of your order makes this an efficient plane to get your lunch, plenty of room and lots of tables plus a good sized bar makes each visit enjoyable.
Always great and prompt service. There are a couple people there that have been memorized my typical order. Healthy options available at good prices.
We walked in to eat a little something as breakfast was about to close. We were given a free parfait and a free fruit cup. The food was good but the service was even better.
