Awesome. Got to a meeting location an hour early and had time for breakfast so I urban spooned a location. What a hidden gem this place is. It's an old 50s era diner with a charm you don't find in chain eateries. Food was good as well
Well worth the short drive off I-10. GREAT find! Home cooking. Homemade deserts. Food was excellent. Thanks to Urbanspoon we found this place. Well worth stopping to eat!

Old Fashioned Good Food. This is the gem of Jacinto City! The service is excellent, the food is awesome and in BIG proportions and the price is very reasonable.

Food and service was great. The location was clean and there were many seating options.
The food portions that were served were perfect. Some plates come with some biscuits as well. The food was hot off the grill and did not taste like food from a chain restaurant. It was unique and delicious.
I saw the reviews and decided to give it a try! I was not disappointed at all! Me & my kids started going for breakfast every morning. Lol. We became regulars just that fast. The food is hot & is served very quickly. The pancakes were big. I literally got full off of the 2x2x2 meal. Worth the price. Everyone is so friendly & kind that works there. It’s a friendly environment. They give my kids lollipops every time we leave. Lol.
Today I tried the cheesesteak omelet & it was awesome! I chose the grits & biscuits for my sides. The grits were bland, however, from a business pov it's understandable. Just season to taste & you're good to go. The biscuits on the other hand, were melt-in-your-mouth delicious!
A little fyi, if you pay w/a card the charge will show as TSS ARAPOGLOU INC.(as of this post). I freked out the 1st time b/c I didn't know who the heck it was...until now.

I've been eating here for many years. And I have to say I've enjoyed it most all the time. But of late the food seems to have been lacking a bit and the inside of the cafe has become dated and worn. I know times are hard and money is short but a little bit of effort to fix some of the accommodations would be good. And the extra bathroom needs to be repaired..
I love mom and pop shop locartons. The breakfast food here were big portions so better have a good appetite. Prices are reasonable and the waitress attended us with great service. This place has been around more than 40 year!!! That tells you something about this place. I would definately recommend this spot and I will be returning back again. Love this place! First time going and will definitely go again and again and again.... The staff are all friendly, the place is cozy and clean, and the food is amazing! Also easy on the budget.
Overall, it was a good experience. Do not order the gravy for breakfast. It's not country gravy but a bland white gravy. Eggs, hash brown, bacon, and French toast are all great. The servers are friendly. For this biscuits and gravy girl, it broke my heart.
I've been coming here for at least 20 yrs. Way back when Steve was alive, it always made you feel welcome. It is the workmans diner. It doesn't matter what you wear you come to eat. Service is usually great. Food is always good and more than normal portion sizes. I have No complaints. I recommend them to anyone who wants good food at a reasonable price. I appreciate this old style restaurant.

3/20/21 We enjoyed this so much. It was really really good.Seasoned perfectly and eggs to my liking. We had the pleasure of having Sandra as our waitress and who was so sweet and treated us like we were her family and like she's known us for years and that's what it's all about.Spoke with the manager/owner who was also very friendly.Good food along with good service is hard to come by. You usually get one or the other but to get both is a treat. We will definitely be back.
