First trip to the latest offering from the folks who brought us Coltivare...and it does not disappoint! Vintage cocktails, gourmet chicken nuggets, curried shrimp Caesar salad, and a dish called jasmine rice congee that I can best describe as a cross between grits and Korean bibimbap without the spicy. Just try it, trust me.
Agricole Hospitality has another winner here. Think Coltivare-cum-Eight Row Flint - Morgan's fantastic beverages with Ryan's out-of-this-world food, in a great casual setting. We will be back.
We sat outside to enjoy brunch in the cool and comfortable weather. I had also noticed that the indoor space was nicely laid out with a bar area. Although the honey chicken biscuit was a small portion, it was delicious. The biscuit was soft with a sweet crunchy crust, and the grilled chicken was tasty. I would recommend the smoked gouda burger as well, which was really good, although the parmesan potatoes served with it were just ok. Overall, my experience was good with amazing service.
Gouda burger and Mule for brunch. Would definitely return. Night Heron is tucked away in a lower montrose neighborhood. Contemporary theme, relaxed atmosphere. Quick service. Fantastic unique cocktails
Super enjoyable. Happy hour all day Monday, but very reasonable prices no matter what. Spent $19 plus tip. Service was attentive and the owner was friendly. Good options and ambiance — will be back!
Showed up for a drink on a Thursday evening. Got the nice couch seating, and enjoyed a quiet drink... I had the daiquiri which was actually quite nice (kinda spicy, which was just what I wanted). My group also got a old fashioned and a third drink which was also quite good. We also got the fried potatoes which made for a great snack to go with the drinks. Will go back and try a fuller meal.
We started with the Garden Pea Hummus, Fried Curry Spiced Potatoes, Coltivare Fried Cauliflower and the Arugula Salad. For our main course, we got the Spaghetti Cacio E Pepe and the Penne Rigate. The Potatoes was our favorite appetizer. It was seasoned perfectly and not oily at all. The Salad was our next favorite. The Arugula was fresh and had a bite to it. The light dressing tied it all together. This was my first time trying a Spaghetti Cacio E Pepe and I will certainly try it at other restaurants too. The simplicity in the dish and yet all the flavors that came through, were refreshing. I would probably ask them to hold back on the shredded cheese the next time. The Rigate was the complete opposite with the lemony punch with all the spices. The entree's are good sized to share if you have a few appetizers first.
The food was awesome yet again and with patio dining as an option, it can be a year round favorite.
Enjoyed the brunch, this was supposed to be shakshuka but it’s a little different than the original eggs and tomato. I substituted the meatballs with steak. I asked for medium well but it was medium rare. Overall it was good.
The food was very good! The ambiance was chill and perfect for date night. Wide variety of cocktails too.
We came in for drinks but after talking to Evan all about the snacks we couldn't resist. She served us plate after plate of delicious food and I had some great beers to drink. If you stop by order a lot and make sure to sit in Evan's section. She took us on a flavorful journey of the mind, body and soul fooood.
Agricole Hospitality hasn't missed a beat at the new Montrose location, Night Heron, on Mandel Street. The Chicken Mousse with Strawberry Jam was a perfect starter. The Pan Roasted Sirloin was spicy scrumptious with the cold noodles, and the Salty Dog cocktail was another hit. I would order each of those items again and again.
First time here, and it was great. There wait staff was very warm and attentive. Atmosphere was laid back and made for a nice spot to chat and sip on drinks. Happy hour is fairly generous and lasts until 7pm and is all day Monday according to the menu. The Salty Dog was amazing. Would definitely come back if I can bring myself to brave the parking.
