Awesome restaurant, I can’t wait to go back!! The staff did a nice job greeting us and we were seated in 5 minutes. The decoration is very aesthetic and the service is great (Eli our waiter did an excellent job answering all of our questions and making sure we had everything we needed!). The food is so delicious and you can’t even tell that everything is vegan. I got the fish (not fish) tacos and they were so good, I couldn’t tell it wasn’t fish, same goes for the coconut calamari. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cool place to try.
The Ginger Mule blew me away. I have tried all of the vegan spots in Houston but for some reason this place never popped up on my radar. One day I was in the area and they showed up on google. Wasn’t even particularly hungry but wanted to give them a shot. So happy I did! I got the nachos and the lasagna, my wife got French toast. Everything was incredible. Some of the best vegan nachos I’ve ever had. She said the French toast was the best she’s ever had. The lasagna was incredible. Very complex flavor profile.
The staff were very nice and the restaurant was clean. Small place with intimate seating arrangements.
Can’t wait to go back and dine in!
Tonight we had Kirk as our host and he was lovely! We came back when it was Verdine so we were happy to see this concept is also Vegetarian/ Vegan.
Kirk recommended both the enchiladas and the Fried Rice Your Way and both were incredible. Textures and flavors were spot on. We had the BB Smash and the Limonada de la Lavender High Ball for drinks which were both delicious as well.
The interior is beautiful and food came out quickly. We were quite pleasantly surprised to see large food portions and gladly took the rest home to enjoy as left overs.
