The sauces where great. Love companies that have many sauces to choose from and allow you to taste.
The chicken wings, gizzards, and thigh where cooked very well. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The breading is not in my top 5 favorites. The okra was flavorful. The gizzards are too great. They had enough tenderness and crunch.
Great place, prices to high though.
Wouldn't mind coming back for gizzards and sauce. Not just for fried chicken though.
Yet another chapter in my restaurant Chronicles. I drive by this place pretty regular. Thought I'd stop by and check it out. It was actually very good! It has a different flavor but it's good. It took about 15 minutes so I figured to be ready because none of the chicken cooked until you order it. So I was okay with that. It was hot and fresh and good. Not too pricey. Customer service was great! Very pleasant employees. I will be back Chicago Famous Chicken!!
Cooked to order, fresh and hot. My husband felt like he was back home. We have been back several times especially for the pizza puffs. Love can't wait for the rest of the menu to try.
Fresh fried chicken. Variety of sauces. Whole wings, not pieces, rare here in Houston. Friendly staff and clean restrooms. I spent than normal on chicken, but the portions were great. I probably bought more than I needed, but it made for great leftovers the next day.

Atmosphere - definitely geared for to go orders. Theu have inside tables but it is done and dash oriented. They give you your order and the rest is you.
Food - so far I have just had their fried chicken. It is really good. Their marinade and batter give the chicken great flavor. (Pro tip - Tuesday chicken meals are like half price) They are worth coming to try at least once. Their fries use a really good spice mix. It is mainly salt and pepper with touches of other spices it seems. Really good.
Service - I haven't had a bad exchange here. The staff are friendly and professional. They are quick too.
Special Note - They cook the chicken when you order it. You will be waiting 10 to 20 minutes. Be prepped. The ain't McDonald's.its worth it for those who do.
Food is packaged in paper containers with wax paper lining the top and 2 pieces of toast on bottom with fries and chicken on top of em.
The final thoughts - Bit more costly which shows in the quality. Great food and worth coming to try. Recommend to friends they won't hate you.

Got the Fish and Chicken combo with 1 catfish filet , 1 wing and 1 breast in the bayou hot sauce with fries. Food came out fast and tasted delicious. I definitely will be back.
My girlfriend is a Chicago native and says that the mild sauce here is almost identical to the one back home! -Apprently I also messed up by not having them drench my order with said mild sauce
The food is cooked fresh. The mild sauce is on point. Reminds me of true Chicago hometown food. My second time here. Will keep coming back.
Being a Chicago native I was very skeptical about trying this place out. But they definitely have the mild sauce on point. The chicken was good (not seasoned to my desired taste) but the sauce makes up for it, freshly fried in fresh oil which was pleasant to have. The fries were really, really good too (I'd fry them just a min longer though) and they put just the right amount of sauce on everything, even the bread was just like I'd have in a Chicago chicken shack. The staff that attended to us was really nice too. Overall a really good experience. We will definitely be back!
Very Clean & Organized restaurant. The staff was extremely Friendly & Accommodating. We arrived close to Closing time and the owner still welcomed us to dine in. The FOOD!
The food is freshly prepared once ordered. We dined on chicken wings, fries, cole slaw and the famous Chicago sauce. It was perfectly seasoned & pleasing to the palate. We'll definitely become Regulars. I highly recommend patronizing this establishment.
