Such a delightful place! It can be hard to see when you first pull up. It’s tucked away in beautiful trees that when you dine outside, it feels secluded and peaceful. The guy at the register was so patient and kind with me when I asked about the different items on the menu and his recommendations. I got the sweet potato hash, breakfast taco and iced mocha latte. It was filling, delicious and was kind to my gut! You can taste the fresh ingredients. My friend got the chocolate banana chia bowl and I’m looking forward to coming back to get that as a guilt free treat!

Probably my new favorite place for breakfast. They did a good job with the atmosphere. That’s the first thing you will notice. Minimalist. A relaxing place to get a healthy bite and study/work. The drinks presentation and flavor are A+ I tried the blackberry toast, and a matcha 🍵 latte, ridiculously delicious. Dishes are small but healthy and packed of energy. I felt so good after my breakfast. We paid around $48 for a breakfast for two, 18% tip included. Totally recommend. Definitely I will be a returning customer.

Vibe- This is a neat spot near the Montrose area that you probably won’t know about unless you just so happen to stumble upon it like I did on social media. There’s plenty of seating outside and a nice amount of seating inside too! Customer service- Good, but could’ve been better! Food/drinks- I got the chocolate banana chai bowl that is vegan and I enjoyed it; I’d probably try something else on my best visit though because the chocolate was a bit much for my liking. I also got a hot matcha latte that is made with their cashew milk and I got some honey added to it for sweetness. Parking- They have a lot with a good amount of spots.

Hidden gem in Montrose area. If you drove by it on Fairview you wouldn’t be able to see it, so use google maps! Huge parking area which is a plus for this area. Amazing pristine atmosphere indoors. Gives an LA feeling to me where you’re also paying LA prices too. While my salmon lox toast was tasty and beautifully displayed, it only came with one toast. Otherwise I agree w many reviews here that you’re paying for the atmosphere. There’s a nice outdoor seating area as well. A very calm and relaxing feel about this place. Would come back to try their coffees.

The experience I had should be a case study for business executives who want to compete on world-class service. First visit to Vibrant was about ten days ago when I met a friend for coffee after not seeing each other for a very long time. He was excited about this place and told me I would love it based on the healthier options and overall vibe. My friend was right. All around A+ on food & drink choices, healthy options, environment, cleanliness, staff friendliness from the 4-5 employees I observed, and more. The person ringing us up was excited and passionate about every ingredient he was telling me about which was refreshing to see his passion. Only one major PROBLEM: I went to pay my $65 bill (I ordered a few items because I was so impressed and excited) and unfortunately I hand him a $100 bill and he stated they were cash only. Unfortunately, I came from the gym and left my wallet at my office so I only had cash. My buddy did not have the ability to pay either, so we sat there debating our only alternatives of either I go back to my office and return (which would have taken 45 minutes to hour), or we just leave. Sucks to reunite with a friend and have this debacle be your first 10 minutes. We were both pissed and then came the solution. The gentleman helping us, Dalton (I believe), politely (and quietly) stated "guys don't worry for now, why don't you at least sit down and enjoy your coffees and the food that is on it's way and we can figure out after your meal about your office and getting your wallet. I was stunned by his proposal, and frustrated at myself, and I told him thank you and to please let his manager know they can have my info while I run back to work to get my credit cards - after all I did not want him to get in trouble for trying to solve this customer issue at the only register while there was a long line behind us. Dalton smiled, and again, politely (and quietly) stated "please do not worry about that, no stress at all, just enjoy your meal and drinks with us and I will come check on you later". Still frustrated, I sat down with my friend, we tried to catch up as much as we could while being distracted by this lack of payment. I went on my phone and forced myself to learn (long overdue) how to enroll in Apple Pay, meanwhile I did not have my CC in front of me or memorized. So I logged into my bank, was able to verify multiple steps, get the CC numbers, enroll in my Apple Pay finally, and after we finished eating and the line was gone I approached Dalton and resolved the payment (an hour later). As I reflected on this, Dalton's level of customer service may have been the most exemplary approach I have seen in years. His attitude was incredible and his passion was contagious - both before the payment issue and after - he never once made me feel called out (which I was already embarrassed), he didn't panic and look at us with that deer in headlight look most people his age or in his position would, and he simply acted on what he felt was the right thing for the customer in that moment, knowing it was my first time there and he wanted it to be a good experience. BTW, the deer in headlight look many of us get almost daily as consumers usually is the result of organizational culture that does not empower employees to make decisions (which they feel good about doing, when they can), or it is from hiring the wrong people for the wrong job (poor talent management), or it is a combo of both. Vibrant does not have those issues, and by hiring people like Dalton - and hopefully recognizing his work and using it as their new standard for other employees - they will keep earning loyal and raving fans like myself.
