Big, Cheap Burgers. The area looks like they could've filmed Robo Cop there. But if you can get past the location and don't mind burgular bars, buckets that catch drips from the ceiling and faded out photos of the space program, then you will be rewarded with an above average burger for cheap ($3.50).
I'm guessing patties are hand-formed and about 1/3 lb. Meat is pretty lean, so ooze factor is on low side. They are cooked well-done--less time on the griddle would make them juicer. Next time I think I'll ask for medium, but have no idea if they will do it?? Mix of Asian & Hispanic employees are pleasant & customer oriented, so they might.
They serve breakfast till 11am. Also baked potatoes, Frito pie, steak finger basket and even daily plate specials, etc. Stay far, far away from industrial-style onion rings--instead opt for hand-cut fries from heaven above!
Near Hobby Airport and the aging Almeda Mall, don't let the area deter you from enjoying burger & fries at this iconic dump.

I had the double cheeseburger. The family is so nice. The burger was made from scratch. It was good but would be even better with a little seasoning, like adding a little cumin on both sides of the patties when you put them on the grill. It is a good bang for your buck, and it is definitely worth eating here.
Good food, large servings for a reasonable price. The building and furnishings have seen better days, but the staff is friendly and they feed you well. The food is fresh, hot and made to order, but that takes a bit time so service is not always fast. There are a lot of old NASA and airline posters and pictures on the wall too.
This place is really good. Homemade burgers & they have curly fries , onion rings ,tator tots & regular fries . Most places don't have that. & Great customer service 👏. They close at 6.30
Great little restaurant in a strip mall. Prices are VERY reasonable. Don't let the dated interior scare you away it's great food. Lots of interesting memorabilia on the walls.
I had the burger with bacon. That was the best burger!!!! I for sure will be back. Check all the vintage while your there!!!
My uncle brought us here the first time and ever since I and my family has been coming to this place. I notice that fresh meat at this place is brought every morning during bussiness days. Friendly service and good people. Burgers are awesome here and price is very decent for the portion they give you.

This place is still a mom and pops burger joint. This place is still very good. Today I had the avacado burger basket and a drink. It was delicious. I recommend this place to anyone. Dont forget to share and like.

Came here for the first time and didn’t disappoint! The shrimp basket is amazing and prices on everything are very reasonable. If you’re looking for a homemade burger with prices that compete with fast food, this place is for you for sure!!
Cozy little place for a quick bite to eat. They've been a staple in the community for a reason. The service is great and so are the employees. Great place to bring your family!
