Whoa! It’s Christmas Day at noon and we are starving. This is right down the street and it was open! It did NOT disappoint! We gobbled up a quesadilla that was packed with everything: chicken cheese rice beans peas peppers. All of the things. They were polite and spoke little English but we got by just fine. Burrito is up next! So glad we stopped! Definitely coming back!
Pupusas (mixed meat & cheese) were some of the best I've had in Houston. Go here!

I have lived in Houston for 20 years and eaten pupusas all my life. This is THE BEST place. Pupusas and agua frescas are amazing.
Best pupusas in Houston hands down!! They were so warm, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The coleslaw and green salsa complimented the pupusas and made the dish complete. The man and woman are also very nice and ensured we had a great experience. Very affordable and they accept cards.. GO GO GO!!!
Pupusas were great, and so were the plantains with refried beans.
Giving this place a three star NOT because the food was bad but because the man that was manning the place (taking orders, etc) tried to touch my hand in a way that was not invited and inappropriate, and made a remark not related to my food purchase.
LADIES, if you go please be aware of the man in the front. He is a creeper, and unrespectful man.
The pupusa‘s are definitely great I had the mixtas (cheese & pork ) with the red tomato sauce & cabbage which is signature in El Salvador , also has some plantains and cream! they are very affordable, if you’re on this side of town I would definitely recommend you stop by and get yourself some popusas considering that there is not many central American places on this side of town!
Definitely a hole in wall mom and pops shop! The popusa's were delicious. Don't be fooled about the area, the food is good. Jose, who is a one man show was very informative. I will definitely come back!
Taste like home! Went Wednesday $1.10 Pupusa special it was great the whole team loved them and it was so affordable looks like a little whole in the wall but the food is great! Definitely recommend everyone!.
We always order pupusas for our luncheons, (30 at a time). They are always ready with our order, and everyone loves their pupusas! I also had their caldo de res- is amazing! just like mom makes it.
