Arrived to the resturant a little past 9pm, the host did a great job finding a table for us. We arrived a few minutes before the live band was about to play. The waiter was awesome, he was very attentive and didn't let my cup ever go empty. The place was full and the ambient was great! Ordered the Guayaba sampler and oh boy I must say you get what you pay for, it was loaded with different items, it was so good (a must if you ever go)! The band started playing and it suddenly made the night even better! The music wasn't extremely loud because I was still able to hold a conversation with the party I was with. The owner did a stupendous job, by checking in with us to make sure our experience was good. The waiter did a good job by setting up the expectation that there was two large party's in front of our order and that he would do his best to get our entrees out as soon as possible! The food came out and I must say It was delicious, great authentic food! All of the food seemed as if the cook made it just for us! I would recommend this place if you're looking for good food and a good night out!

I love ur place me and my husband always hve a great time. The only thing I don't like is tht we always we have about 20 for a waitress or until I ask the manager or owner if someone going to take our order. Yesterday the waitress with the blonde hair walked by us like 4 times and did even acknowledge us. She was more interested on attending on a table of ppl she knew. I ask for a waitress and the manager right away took action. I really appreciated it. We we're waited on by Joselyn. She was awesome. She was able to wait on several table and gave everyone great service. If the other waitress thinks tht she will get a better tip from a larger group than a table for two. She is so freaking wrong. We always tip very well. Our waitress got a nice tip yesterday for her awesome service. You need to really commend her for her had work. My husband was asking me we can have ur birthday party here (cause we love ur food and the music). I told him not if they r going to tht other waitress.
Two of us arrived at 11:30 on a Monday. We were the only ones here which was odd. We waited for 20 minutes for our food to arrive (seemed a little long). I ordered lomo saltado and they made it to order. The taste was not that great; my friend ordered pollo con crema jalapeño. She enjoyed it. The fried bananas (maduros) were good. probably would not return.
Good food, good service, reasonable prices - what's not to like. Couple the quality of food and service with a wonderful brunch selection AND bottomless mimosas - an excellent way to spend a late Sunday morning. Recommend you give it a try.
I love it the music the ppl so family oriented the service is great I love this place my first time here and I will be back I recommended it to everyone come join us have fun the food is delicious
Ropa Vieja. I absolutely love this dish! It is my number one favorite meal to eat here! The beef is cooked just right, along with the beans and rice, as well as the maduros that come with the meal. Thank you Guayaba for bringing the taste of Cuba to Texas!
Love it. Guayaba latin girll was such a fun place to go and eat there was live band playing, good music and great food . would most deff go there again

Was attended to quickly and seated in a nice area with a view. The decor and mood were great.

We had Sunday Brunch There today, The Service Was Excellent, The Food Was Excellent. Very Moderately Priced. Very High Quality Food, Fixed to perfection.
We Most Certainly have found a new favorite place to eat.
Liked this place a lot ... service was fantastic (Oscar) and the food was delicious ... my dish albeit very good was a bit disappointing in terms of the look ... the plate was very skimpy and the sauce that it had was a weird pink .. but it was good ... I will be returning to try other items! The chips were the best I've ever had but the salsa tasted a bit more like marinara thank Salsa ... but still a great experience...

Nice and friendly staff. Outstanding food especially the Tostones.....delicious! Dancing on Friday and Saturday with a live band. It was a wonderful environment watching dancing all around you.
Perfect latin spot to dance salsa and enjoy best of music. My parents loved the place and had a great time during their 36 th aniversary.
Great place to go dancing and the food is very good. The only bad thing it to hot. They need to get there air conditioner looked at and need a better wait staff. We waited around 10 min and no one came to take our drink order. So my husband just got up and went to the bar to order. The owner saw wht happen and apologized and sent a girl to wait on us all night.
This place has the best atmosphere especially on Saturday and Friday night. Live music good and lots of fun. I was able to enjoy my cuban cigar at the patio, we also has a chance to talk to the owner. What an experience it was. Such wonderful staff and good food. Thank you Guayaba.
Great place if you want to eat and have fun. Food is delicious and inexpensive . Servers are polite, even the owner takes his time to talk to customers. Drinks price a little bit high but it worth it considering you can enjoy live music and dance in a very safe and clean place . Plenty of free parking. Recommended.
Pupusas are delicious and their drinks are even better! It's a great environment for family and friends both young and old. The staff is helpful and nice. Guayabas is a lot better now with the new layout of the place! You don't feel as crammed.
Wow! This is now my favorite restaurant. They have free salsa lessons on Thursdays and the environment is simply great. The owners really dedicate their time to make their customers happy. The food is amazing!!!
