Our family loves this location and has since it opened about 45 years ago. It's fresh and better than ever since the new carpet went in recently. The dining room is so pleasant with the floor to ceiling glass walls viewing the broad sky and trees. The staff is so kind and food usually excellent. We love the turkey and dressing, fried and baked fish, and something newer for us is the pork roast. The salads and vegetables are also very good. It's interesting to see the new food displays in the lobby area. Something else we appreciate is having the to-go cups. The cups are wonderful and can keep your drink ice cold about all night. You-all should give this place another try. It's all so enjoyable and a great value!
Hey, I recently complained about the food, the smelly table napkin's, etc. Waited about 90 day's went back and was very surprised. Thought it was a joke, I went back again on my birthday June 17 and everything was still awesome. The table napkins were clean, the food was tasty and hot. It was not rush hour by any mean's but everything was still fresh and awesome. PEOPLE WRITE REVIEWS! They do listen.Speak to the manager and or call the owner's when you spend your money and do not receive positive result's complain. If it's honest and the businesses appreciate you, they will listen and they will make changes..... Go Luby's!
I take my father here a few times a week because he loves it. I think the food is really good too! They just went up on there Luann special that is way to much! A lot of Senior citizens have lunch there that are on a fixed budget and my guess is the extra couple bucks is gonna cost them. Not because of the food because of the increase. They have a great Cook on Wednesday and Friday. You can see it when you go there.
Great food and cashier not so friendly maybe had a bad day. LADY that work on the floor she was the sweeties person and skill was awesome and great customer service. She did her job well. Keep the great work.
Location on Fondren is used by bridge group I belong to. We find a variety of foods at reasonable prices. I like liver and onions and Luby's is the best around. Line moves quickly and you order to go at a drive up window. THIS LOCATION HAS CLOSED DOWN.
All the food on the line is always good and the people are great as well. Outstanding waitressing staff in the dining area attending to your needs I love it over there.
My family comes here occasionally and we're always looking forward to the great service.

Very nice. Really nice food, loved the fried fish. Wasn't feeling the setting or rather arrangement of the place. Very nice staff, a little too nice it got weird.
The Fondren location has a great deal on Luann platters on Mondays and Thursdays. The food is fresh and warm. Salad greens and vegetables are fresh and not overcooked.
