I visited for brunch (dine-in) yesterday with a friend and we had such a pleasant experience! I was very impressed with the quality in food and service from the Roastery’s team. This was my second time visiting this location as I came a few days before for a latte & chicken & waffles to-go. Atmosphere / COVID-19 Precautions: I loved that this space was huge. There are tons of seating and table everywhere as well as a plenty seating and large tables on the patio. The temperature inside was perfect (not too cold/warm) and everyone including the staff was wearing a mask. There wasn’t many people inside so it was great. You walk in and order and pay for your meal at the register then everything was brought to us since we were dining in. Food: We ordered two lattes: vanilla latte and the Nutella and substituted the milk for oat milk (they have so many options). Everything (syrups, etc) are made in-house so that was awesome, and the lattes were delicious. I ordered the chicken & waffles and my friend ordered the “good morning” breakfast. I enjoyed the chicken and waffles and my friend’s meal was straight forward/solid. Her toast was plain, so she asked for jam and they happily brought her some really tasty jam. The have a really good menu because there is something for everyone from break burritos & chicken and waffles to avocado toast- they seem to have it all. For dessert I ordered the s’more brownie from their bakery selection and it was delicious! Oh and...they even have what looks like a full BAR! Can't wait to try their drinks. Service: Customer service throughout was simply great. Brent was the one who checked us out and he was super nice, helpful, and patient. I even bought one of their cool h-town shirts. There was another server Brent, who brought out some of our food and was just really friendly and helpful as well. The service from them really added to the quality of our experience. Overall, I am glad I visited the Roastery we had such a nice experience and felt really welcome. We had a good meal at a good price with great service- what more could you ask for? It’s in a great location too- this café is definitely worth a visit!

For the Mocha Frappé enthusiasts out there, I’m happy to let you know there is a new player in the game when it comes to blended drinks. And that is The Roastery Coffee Kitchen. I tried the blended Mocha Frappé with whip cream and chocolate syrup drizzle, and it was perfect. There was a strong chocolate flavor. The coffee was mild to almost muted. Which is how I like it. The drink was smooth and blended very well. There wasn’t any ice chunks left in the drink. The whip cream was rich and so was the chocolate syrup. Out of all the mocha frappés I’ve had from various coffee shops, from well known large franchises to singular neighborhood coffee houses, I would definitely put this version in the top three in Houston, TX. Aside from the drink, the atmosphere is industrial, modern, and suited for a mixed dining experience. There is a coffee bar with short wooden stools, a regular bar with high chairs, a few soft lounge chairs, other standard table seating, and a spacious outdoor patio as well. A heads up, this is a cashless business. Wish I would have known before I got there. Last note, this is also a restaurant, so their menu has a lot to offer aside from coffee and pastries. Well, I hope you enjoy your experience like I did. 🙂

Great little spot. They roast their own beans and I must say, they do a damn good job. I was skeptical about the food, but was surprised by not only the ingredients, but also the freshness of everything. I got the smoked salmon simit and a cappuccino, both very good. The lunch menu looks decent and I also discovered that they are starting a steak night on Thursday, so I’ll be back to try their dinner game as well. Great addition to the area.

I've been pleased on every visit. The coffee is food and the food is tasty. A cozy little place to relax! I like that the roaster is front and center.

The service is great and the food is way better than I expected from a restaurant in an HEB. The coffee, and cinnamon roll I had were better than Sbucks, and they have a vegan french toast that is fantastic. There is a small play area outside for kids, and a bar inside for bigger kids.

Quick visit for a cup of coffee. Ended up sitting down for some avocado toast. The barista was extremely nice, made a great cappuccino and had my toast ready very quickly. Quant quiet spot. Worth a quick stop if you’re passing by or passing time.

HEB coffee shops are now serious pretender to rule Houston coffee scene. Well trained baristas and pretty good food too. It is to be seen if they are able to keep consistent quality at all locations...

Great service and food was served in a reasonable amount of time! Everyone who worked there was really nice. It was a little pricey though. Otherwise a nice spot to grab a quick bite.

Great place for a Sunday morning bite and drink. Delish food and the coffee is awesome. I'm interested in the full bar available 😁 maybe the next trip.
