Surprisingly decent selection for a small buffet for this. I went in with low expectations so I was a bit surprised to find that they served clams. That's the money item there, in my opinion! They clams were pretty clean, too (a lot of times, buffets will have gritty/sandy clams). I definitely ate until I was full. Pretty good price for lunch. The inside seemed pretty clean, so you can't really ask for more.
This is an updated review, their food is not as salty as before. They now have a hibachi area. Restroom still smells. It is pricy but it’s okay because in my opinion, this is the best Chinese buffet that you can get in the Ascension parish area.
I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!! Highly recommend during lunch time or dinner time!!! I have been going there for over 5 years and it's terrific! Don't listen to negative talkers. Not true. It's terrific!
I work for the government and highly recommend this restaurant. I even have my very own waitress. She's the best!!
Great food and friendly staff 👌 😋 👍🏼
The Food was veary good And i 100 percent recomend if you are looking for somthing that you can eat with family and Friends and the place inside is just buetiful ☺
I have been here many times. It is not the best Chinese in Houston for sure but it is a good buffet and, since 888 left, it is the best in the area. People load up on the shrimp but they have a lot of good dishes. It is not very expensive and most of the people eat a lot of food there. Lots of kids and a big open space to eat so seating has never been an issue and I have never waited. I never had a bad dish. I like the variety of vegetables they serve here and the large selection. The waitresses are normally Chinese (FOB's) and courteous. It is a clean place which can be challenging when there is a crowd.
Great place to eat! Been coming here for years and the food never changes taste (doesn't taste bad) and there is no waiting in line unless it is during the weekends then it will have a short line. Plenty of seating and there's mostly no children. It is a calm and collected place.
Visit at least twice a month in the last 2 or three years. Always friendly service and fresh food unless you enter close to closing. Then like most buffets you get what's left. It also could be popular and refreshed constantly no matter the hour. Rarely have to wait for a plate to be cleared or a drink to be refilled. And they have free Wi-Fi if you need it.
Good Chinese Buffet. I'm a frequent customer. About $14.50 with a tip for dinner. Their take away buffet is a good value at about $12.00. Be sure to check the buffet before seating. I've been disappointed a couple times with the freshness of the food. The customer service has always been excellent.
Upon entering the restaurant we were immediately welcome by the hostess. Once I was at the table the waitress was already asking us what we wanted to drink. They have an excellent selection of sushi and grilled and fried fish and shrimp. They also have and intense selection of deserts. I like my tea to be pre-sweetened but they only had unsweetened tea. Then I proceeded to talk to the waitress and let her know that I rather have a Coke. She immediately went and serve me a Coke since I didn't like the tea. The fruits on the desert bar where oranges, apples and pineapples plus many more. Also ate a a grilled salmon fish that tasted heavenly.
