We were looking for authentic tacos....we found a small quaint place with a big taste. This place has a mom and pop feel with families, students and passers by taking advantage of the modest menu. You can tell that care went into the food prep as the ingredients were fresh and the salsa bar was fresh, clearly labeled and clean. Highly recommend. (Also a great place to practice speaking Spanish for those looking to challenge their skills while learning)
AMAZING! Immaculate restaurant, friendly staff, incredible food. Vegetarian Tacos were to die for!!
Always love their food! I always get the loaded vegetable tacos, which come with actual vegetables (carrots, zucchini, cauliflower, mushrooms) and rice. I got 3 this day and portion sizes are great! Just delicious, and their chips are always nice too! I haven’t tried their meat options, but I’m sure those are good too. Definitely worth a visit! 😋
This is definitely a place for me to comeback. The sauce selection makes them a very unique restaurant of Mexican food. The tacos were amazing I got a order of chorizo and tacos al pastor, they were so good and flavorful.
Yummy tacos in an authentic atmosphere. I’ve travelled to Mexico several times, and walking into this place transported me back. Very basic but colorful restaurant serving a limited but authentic menu… quickly! And the place was busy, which is another good sign. We ordered take out and took it across the street to the park to eat. We got tacos and chips and salsa - pollo, asada, and al pastor - all came on double corn tortillas with white onion and cilantro, exactly like Mexico. Also like Mexico, the seasoning was minimal, except for the al pastor. We tried each variety with and without the various salsas available (more than half a dozen fresh salsas on offer!). Steak was tough, but nicely fatty. Al pastor was the best one. Salsas were tasty with chips, but they gave us just 8 chips per person. 🤔 More chips next time, please!
Overall we really enjoyed the food and will be back. 👍
Delicious.
Brisket Taco and pupusas were our favorite, but the carnitas taco and taquitos were amazing. We will be back and likely will take the extra effort to grab food
from here. The sauce/salsa bar is also top notch- something for everyone.
Update— The ambiance has slightly improved, and they now have an outdoor seating area. I still think the inside is a bit lacking in comfort. Could use music!
My wife got the taco special $15 with pork, chicken and beef and I got the lunch special, 2 brisket tacos for $5 (I got it twice) and it was absolutely incredible. Fresh, tasty and quick. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.
This place by far surprised me. I had read reviews and everyone raved about the meals. Let me attest, best Mexican in the area.
We ordered food for four: shrimp, beef, chicken and pork tacos. All tasty. We also ordered birria and papusa and it was awesome.
They have a salsa bar of about 5 options all fresh.
Will be back!!
I come here a lot for the Quesadillas, which are amazing! The last time I visited, I asked for 4 dip cups. I was told the two extra would cost $1. This surprised me, as I've always thought they were free. I asked how much was for 1 dip cup and the cashier hit a few keys into the register and turned it around, where I saw 37 cents. So I silently wondered to myself... how the hell was 1 of these 37 cents, but two of them equalled a dollar. 🤦 Smdh, anyways... try the Quesadillas.
