I noticed this place driving down the road while traveling in Indianapolis. When I got in the line must have been around 30 people deep. It moved quickly and I was out with tasty treats in less than ten minuets. The doughnuts are great, you can't go wrong with any of them.
Best yeast donuts in town. If you’re into bread-like donuts, these are on the lighter side (not like Jack’s donuts for example). Their glazed yeast are the best and the blueberry cake is a very close second!
I went there for the first time and lady who helped me was so nice that she brought me a donut to try. She was patient and answered my question. I ended up getting a dozen donuts. The only downside is that they’re cash only business; which I had not known beforehand. That being said, I 100% would go back.
The best Donut ever. I have eaten Vodoo donuts, blue star donuts and longs always beats them on texture and flavor.
The staff is always so nice and helpful.

Visited today for the first time — a Saturday morning around 10am. The line was a bit long, but moved pretty quickly. They had so many options and with it being my first time, I was a little overwhelmed. I wish I knew the name of the lady who helped me, but she was so delightful! She even let me try their house specialty: a glazed yeast donut, warm and freshly baked. I’m a sucker for warm customer service, but the donut really topped it all off. I’ll absolutely be paying a visit back anytime I’m in the area.
I ADORE Long's Bakery! I have to make a stop whenever I'm in the Indy area. This location is a little more accessible parking wise than the downtown location and slightly less crowded (depending on time of day). The yeast glazed are to die for but really you can't go wrong with anything here. My visits are so few and far between that it takes me forever to decide on what I want without buying just everything, and the staff are always so patient with me haha. Seriously, I've searched all over the country for donuts that can compete with Long's and it just doesn't exist! Give them a try and just remember that they're cash only. (This place is literally the reason I carry cash still!)
If you've never been to Long's, you need to go. Their donuts are fantastic and they have cakes and other sweet treats. Mt personal favorites are their original glazed yeast, jelly filled, and if you are ready for sugar coma, a Carmel cream filled. If you are doing an event, go in later in the day a few days prior and order and lay ahead. It will be ready to go for you and will make a Saturday or Sunday morning visit quick (they can sometimes have a line out the door!)
If you haven’t stopped here, you have a problem. This bakery is fantastic. Everything is made fresh. It’s so good. It’s worth the trip every time. From donuts to cakes to brownies there is nothing in this place that isn’t good. The staff is helpful and they know the products. It is cash only. I’ll be back for more!
A local favorite bakery. We got there early, still a long line already. However the line move fast, so you need to know what to get prior to coming. Cash only. Staff were very friendly. The place gives out cozy vibe. The bakery Oh my god. It’s so darn good. Can’t wait to go back again.
This bakery shop is a staple in Indianapolis if you’ve never tried it it’s a must💯 clean environment friendly staff good parking and excellent donuts and they also have milk to wash them down with! Just make sure you have some cash in your pocket because it’s cash only🤑
