We had planned on having lunch at the only Russian restaurant in Indianapolis. It has been around for a while but only open for dinner service. I discovered this week that they had started serving lunch . I was really excited but I have been disappointed before. I looked up back up joints in the area just in case. Well, they changed their hours and reverted back to dinner only. So I told Pat that he had a choice of Indian or American pub. He decided on American Pub.

I'm not usually a fan of "strip mall bars" but the YardLine pulled it off. It's got a great flow and an little bit of atmosphere for everyone taste. A decent sized main bar, bar tops, tables and couches, offer a good variety for seating. For entertainment they have numerous flat screens, two pool tables, a shuffle board table and also feature live music. The drink menu is good along with the immense number of beers on tap ( see picture). The food was good, I got the pig skins and they were amazing. The bar staff was great, and the place was clean. So I'm impressed. The only fault I found was the over zealous "door guy" who felt the need to put his hands on people when they walked in the door and talk down to them and cop an attitude. Sorry if you're sitting in a random chair watching the band and hitting on a chick, I have zero clue if you're working, or partying. If it weren't for him, I'd give this place a solid 9, but his attitude as soon as you walk in is enough to run away new customers QUICKLY. So id still give it an 8.
Great food and drinks!. We had never heard of Yard Line and bought a Fox 59 deal to try it out. We were pleasantly surprised! The food was great and the beer was cold and crisp...plus they had a lot of draughts, including a lot of local beers. The Morning Wood burger was amazing and the homemade chips and salsa were some of the best we've had. The actual restaurant was clean and setup very comfortably. The bartender was extremely helpful and fun to talk to. Highly recommend checking it out!

Over all comfortable and laid back atmosphere. People mingling and everyone seemed to have a smile. I would go back again. Nice place to just go and be you.

There's a nice drink selection and they also have pool tables. Indoor/outdoor seating.
The Yard Line Lounge is a large bar with plenty of TVs and game such as pool. It has a very good selection of draft beers. The wings are very large. I would have liked mine cooked a minute longer. The pizza is decent. Many locals hang out here. It's a good vibe. Worth checking out.
Best beer selection on the north side. Atmosphere is very chill and laidback. Great place to grab great beer and watch some sports. They also have a large assortment of bar games from darts, pool, pop-a-shot, a full golf simulator, and even an N64! Highly recommended for those looking to have an awesome time at a great bar.
Loud college bar atmosphere with lots and lots of beers on tap, weekday specials and small menu like wings burgers fries and wraps. Play corn hole outside while drinking and smoking, or play pool, ping pong or video games inside.
Great atmosphere and local flare! Best playlist of any place I’ve been. You will go from Marvin Gaye to Slipknot. A place that truly accepts everyone. I’ll be back. Oh…the food is great too!!!!
Why not come out and have fun, you never know who you will meet type of spot.
Bar tender was friendly and hot, tons of beer selections, reasonable prices, they got pool, arcade basketball, lounge area, great place to chill. Didn't eat so can't comment on the food.
I like this bar. They have great specials and the atmosphere is a lot of fun. I've always had good interactions with everyone here. The food is average for a bar but not too overpriced. My only complaint is the filthy bathrooms. There are no actual stalls and there is always urine all over the floor.
Essentially the largest bar on this side of town open till 3am. Gota buncha tvs, and the bartenders are great. Wouldn't come here for dancing, but several pool tables and bar games make it a great for a group of friends.
