We arrived on a Friday night just before a rush. No long lines, yet. But once they start coming in expect a wait. The staff is very courteous and does a nice job of filling the plates with huge portions. Nice food and dessert selection to choose from. All of the sides are tasty and the smothered pork chops are excellent!
Their mac & cheese is a culinary experience. & I am not even into Mac & Cheese. Their mashed potatoes have flavor. &.fried chicken is crispy & not greasy. & they do a great job having a security guard outside ensuring social distancing & masks. Everyone places their order at the table at the door without having to go in. & receive the food at another window 6 feet away.
I just had the fried chicken Sunday meal with mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread dressing, string beans and carrots, and peach cobbler, and a large Mac n cheese. Everything was amazing. Surprisingly the sides stole the show — the chicken and Mac was awesome — I throw no shade — I was just flabbergasted by the taters, dressing, beans and cobbler. Usually Mac and fried chicken steal the show, and 100% this Mac and fried chicken was amazing. I am only saying that the sides were so good in that they held a candle to the most flavorful foods that is usual outshine the rest of the meal. To the cook at Dulan’s, thank you. You made my weekend. You now have a repeat customer. I loved this meal.
Dulan’s is some of the best southern food you can get in LA. I was quite skeptical at first, but I’m definitely a convert now! Their fried chicken is crispy, flavorful and delicious, and don’t you dare skip out on their mac and cheese!
I personally appreciate their line outside with the social distancing markings on the ground. I felt very safe getting my food!
Dulan's is hands down one of the best 👌 soul food places in the LA area. It's not overly saturated with fat and grease, but explodes with flavor and the savory expirence of eating SOUL food. The portions are huge and they are inexpensive. God Bless this business and the workers!!
