It's fast food sushi – it won't blow your mind but it's good. Lunch specials are priced well and they have your food ready in just a few minutes, so it's great if you're in a hurry. I go about once a week and I've never had any issues.
Considering that this is fast Japanese food, I have to say it was better than I expected. I've been to other fast joints and they fail to deliver on flavor. Rolls here were solid, tempura was good, and presentation is not shabby.
I was staying in Irvine for a bit with friends and I was craving sushi so I took a chance and found this place on google. What caught my attention was the great deals. I got the Fuji plate which was 8 california rolls, 3 shrimp tempera, rice, chicken, salad, and miso soup for $6.90 (this special lasts till end of Jan 2012) They also have happy hour for sushi and other different deals. I liked the food. The chicken was tender and the california rolls were amazing.
