Immediate service! Didn’t have to wait at all. Very nice scenery, quiet, and relaxing. We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere and food! Personally my favorite dish was Seafood Pasta. Food will defiantly will fill you up. Will be back!
This was a great little gem we found just driving down the road. We saw the sign and decided to stop in and try the crab and we are glad we did. It reminds me of a little restaurant that would be placed in the Florida Keys. The crabs were cooked perfectly, and deliciously, seasoned and everything from the appetizers, drinks, seafood and desserts were priced very reasonably. The staff was super attentive and very friendly. I will be going back often.
Recently moved to the area so I am trying new restaurants near my house and this one was def 10/10. The service was great, the prices were reasonable and they have daily drink specials that are actually specials and not just some overpriced drink they are trying to get you to buy AND the portions are huge too! There were also tons of options on the menu so you didn’t have to choose from only a half dozen items like most seafood places around here. We tried the crab stuffed mushrooms and hot crab dip for appetizers and Canadian snow crab legs and a crab and shrimp seafood pasta for the mains and of course everything was delicious. This is probably going to be one of my new favorite go-to restaurants and I highly recommend anyone in my area to check it out!
Would highly recommend. This Marylander loved the blue crabs. The food was authentic and delicious. The crabs were perfectly steamed as they should be, not boiled like most places do because it’s easier. The homemade desserts were very rich and decadent. I would definitely go back.
Best experience and just like our crabs at home from Baltimore! Excellent staff with no wait time! Will come back again😋

My husband and I stopped in here on Christmas Eve and were pleasantly surprised. We are not quite sure if the food or the service is better because they were both superb.
We were out running errands and decided to grab some food to go on our way in. We sat at the bar while we ordered and waited for our food.
Michael, the wonderful bartender, helped make a experience magical. This was a great start to the Christmas holiday. My husband drank a couple of the holiday drinks which he said were delicious.
When we got home and started tasting the food, that is when the debate over the food vs. service came up. OMG, the warm crab dip, snow crab legs, crab cake and crab stuffed mushrooms were to die for. The crab leg shells were crisp, easy to crack and the crab meat easily came out of the shell. You can tell they were steamed and not boiled. Huge difference. Next time we will try to take pictures before we scarf down the food. ;-)
We are not from Maryland but we look forward to visiting again to try the Blue crab. Michael promised to show us how to eat them properly.
If you are looking for a great seafood restaurant with the small town feel where you can be yourself, this is your place.
Did I mention that the prices are super reasonable? It is nice to eat quality seafood without going broke.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our first visit to The Blue Crab today and will definitely return! We were greeted with a smile and our server Mike was so attentive, professional and nice. We enjoyed steamed crabs, fries and the most delicious Key Lime Pie (probably the best I’ve ever had) and chocolate cake for dessert. Our warm butter was refreshed mid-meal, drinks promptly replenished. Mike was on top of it! My husband and I along with our teen boys thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I’d also like to complement the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and restroom facility. Great food, wonderful service and a clean welcoming environment to dine! Job well done.
Our first time here and it was wonderful! Food and drinks were very good and the best Key lime pie I’ve ever tasted. Michael was top notch and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
My family loves this place, a crab shack. You have to the crab soup. So good. Get you fill of crabs and enjoy the mess as you pick through the succulent meat that you’ll dip in drawn butter. Hush puppies are super tasty too! Service was outstanding. Ample seating inside and out.
AMAZING! Visiting from LA and the food was spectacular and the service was even better! We got a lovely server named Sophia V which I recommend you ask to be served by her. So sweet, super quick and precise. Beautiful place and no wait. Off the beaten path, what a golden find!
