Highly recommend as a lunch hot spot. They have daily specials that are worth going back each day to try. Fast, friendly service and affordable, made-to-order meals with large portions.
Today was my third visit, perfect time for a review! I could say this is your "typical diner" food but that is only somewhat true. There are some pretty special menu items also - ranging from great Southern favorites, to homestyle classics, and topnotch sandwiches. Everything I've tried here has been very tasty. On my first visit I had the Buffalo Chicken Salad which was pretty standard. But the Marinated Beef Tips over Crack & Cheese (aka Mac & Cheese) was outstanding! Be prepared to share this one. The Reuben sandwich was amazing - with thick sliced corned beef served on toasted bread. Honestly some of the best corned beef I’ve had anywhere! My friend ordered a juicy Frankenstein burger and raved about it. Jax Diner is worth a visit for a burger, hot french fries, and their Crack & Cheese!
Cozy place. I had the Classic Breakfast with hash browns, bacon, and biscuit. Added a side of sausage gravy. My guest had the Jax Up - she loved it too. Everything was delicious and delightfully southern. Can't wait to try lunch for my next visit.
Best customer service I've seen in a restaurant. After a poor experience with Grub Hub, the owner personally delivered the food we ordered along with a few extras as an apology, even though the fault wasn't the Diner's. AND the food was still delicious. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.
My first time here, great breakfast. Really comfortable place with friendly staff. The owner/chef prepares everything in house; fresh pressed patties and home made sausage gravy. Nothing frozen here, we are impressed!
I was looking for a good burger at a great price. Found a great burger and many other options at an awesome price. Looking forward to tackling the double cheese burger topped with bacon wrapped hotdogs during my next visit! If you are in the area you have to try this place.
Omg just had lunch her with a coworker, The food was so good I only ate my Mac and cheese and my coworkers side of Lima Beans. She enjoyed her shrimp and grits some much she ordered a p.o. boy to go. Oh and my burger was good even though I was so full I only took to bite of it... 😊😊😊will be back...
Had a cheeseburger. Have to say it was the best I've had in a longtime. Compares close to a joint that was in Highland Indiana that I loved eating at but since closed. Moving near area soon and will be back for more food.
Stopped by after a morning of disc golf and got the steak in a sack special. The sandwich was bursting with flavor. Excellent sandwich and the corn nuggets were a great side.
This place was amazing, affordable and the energy is great. Service is kind and quick. The corned beef was the best I've ever had around! Will definitely be back to this little lovely place.
Small hole in the wall but we sure did enjoy everything!!! We by passed all the big chain breakfast places and wasn't disappointed with this Lil one here. Definitely coming back when back in town.
