My husband has been in the Mayo Hospital for almost two weeks now due to a Stem Cell Transplant. He hasn’t been able to eat much and was extremely tired of the hospital food. We got permission from his nurse to get him McDonald’s, there were a few requirements to give it to him though. He is highly susceptibly to infections. The food had to be prepared fresh on the spot, none of it could sit under the lamp, it couldn’t touch the counters or any other food and it all had to be bagged separately. I fully expected them to tell me that they wouldn’t be able to accommodate me or my special request. I spoke with Carlos, the manager, he was phenomenal. Not only did he accommodate the way the food had to be prepared he was willing to make him lunch items during breakfast rush. I hadn’t realized lunch wasn’t served until 11am. Carlos went above and beyond to help me and I couldn’t be more thankful for him. Because of Carlos’s generosity and customer care my husband was able to actually eat for the first time on 2-3 days!! Thank you, Carlos, you are appreciated!! Definitely going to be back for the duration of his hospitalization.
I loved it. The crew was so nice. Clean. I wish the McDonald's in my university Blvd. area was this nice.
