We rented a canoe for the 7 mile trip. We took our dog with us. The weather was beautiful the river was crystal clear although a little low. We didn’t flip once but got stuck a couple of times. We were able to float the canoe under the low bridge instead of take it out. We had a great time and hope to go again. Highly recommend especially if you are staying at the state park. $50 for a 3.5 hour 7 mile trip. I think it was well worth it!

I was excited to visit this river, I always like to visit different places such as lakes, beaches and rivers, today I finally got to know, everything was good, I liked the river, the water was very clear, in THIS summer season, it wasn't very deep, we had a lot of fun, we paid for 4 miles and we could only enjoy a few 2 and a half miles I don't know why was 4.5 miles,but anyway I liked it, we had a good time. Note: personal observation: you guys need to upgrade At least another bathroom, to use the only one , you have to wait 20 minutes and with a huge line of people. And the other bad thing , there is only one bathroom for all types of reservations, and during the entire journey in the river, if you feel like it, you have to wait until you reach the beginning point, or reservation area.
