What a great place... if you love smoked anything, this is your place. If you love beer this is your place. The pastrami is the best I have ever tasted. Not too salty, and melts in your mouth. The monkfish pastrami- yummy. Portobello fries- must have. Smokehouse potatoes/francuzáky - delicious. Loved all the pickled and fermented vegetables. What a change from the ordinary. If you like pork belly, theirs is to die for. Lentil soup- thick and scrumptious. Of course my husband loved the Plzeňský Prazdroj/ Pilsner Urquell. I loved the Downeast Unfiltered Cider. Others loved Schofferhofer. Everything we ate and drank was excellent. These foodies will be back soon.
Atmosphere is top notch, beer, especially the Pilsner Urquell when poured “mliko” style, is excellent and the food is plentiful and satisfying. Staff is very accommodating.A great place to socialize, eat and quaff in an authentic drinking emporium from Eastern Europe in the 1930’s or 40’s.
This place is amazingly good! The staff is great and the food is off the charts. I could eat the pastrami everyday.
