Not a better Mexican restaurant in JC! Great happy hour specials including Mexican beer unlike other Mexican restaurants and I’ve never had a bad meal.
I was in Johnson City, TN, last night and had dinner at Ole's Guacomoles. To cut to the chase, it was possibly the best Mexican food I've ever experienced, and very (VERY!) reasonably priced. Further, the server, Michael, knew the menu backward and forward. We ate off the A'la Carte menu, each having fish tacos, I getting an additional Taco De Arrachera and she a Chile Relleno. We also shared a chorizo quesadilla. And the bean dip served with the chips was something I'd never tasted before and loved...and a free salsa bar for those who don't.

Got some takeout. Tacos and such. Absolutely fantastic! Love the food. Nice place too. However, no salsa was provided. Like, I got chips but no salsa? I know they have a salsa bar but isn’t there a default for orders on the go? Order took some time to get ready but it was Taco Tuesday “and very busy” so all’s forgiven I suppose.😅 Great food though!

Delicious. Loved the complimentary salsa bar. Guacamole was delicious. Excellent serving staff. And really cool vibe and decor.
Excellent service! Amazing food! We had barbacoa tacos, De Colores salad with chicken, chili verde and of course their amazing guacamole!
It's the first time I had Barbacoa and it was pretty good. I was hoping it would be spicy but I wasn't sure what it was supposed to taste like. It had a taste of a type of pot roast. The flan was ok as well. The other item we ordered was the Jalapeño Fajita. It was a little greasy but had a good flavor. The deduction in a star was because the salsa and the queso were very bland and the table Tortillas chips were oily and overcooked. This was a fist visit but I'd definitely return
The food & atmosphere keep us coming back for more (excellent renovation!)! Tonight, we were swooning over the infectious smile and contagious positivity of Malachi! What a gem 💎 - 10/10 stars! ⭐️ Malachi is so personable and you will Not be disappointed when you ask to sit in his section! Love, love, love 💗
