Delizioso! Tonight was our first time. The toasted beef ravioli and red sauce was amazing.
My husband loved the steak sandwich and my boys really loved the pasta/meatball special.

Live south of the river but do jobs in the Gladstone area quite frequently, always drove by this place but never really had the time to stop. Tried the Chicken Fettucine Alfredo this week for lunch and I have to say it's up there with the best I've ever tasted, real alfredo cream sauce with the cheesy flavor, not a separated nasty mess and the chicken was tasty and tender. Also came with three slices of tasty garlic parmesan bread. Outta this world, reminds me a bit of old LaSala's market in Columbus Park.
Great food -- great people. I LOVE their Ruben sandwiches. However, as another review mentioned, be prepared to take half home. They are huge and packed with corned beef. Get their fries with the sandwich. They're wonderful, too.I also recommend the chicken alfredo fettuccini. My husband and grandson always insist on the mostaccioli and meatballs.My only complaint is that the soft drink dispenser is too high -- I'm only 5' and it's impossible to see if my drink is full.
Just like my Great Aunt DeFeo's. On another foodie site, there was a negative review of Giovanni's that said their sauce tasted like Chef Boyardee. This is far from the truth. The sauce is sweet and light, and a perfect compliment to their rich pasta's.
This is not your average heavy gravy, overcooked Italian.
Great, quick (they even have a drive-through), cheap Italian
The lasagna is excellent. Their Ravioli is amazing. Skip the Chicken Parm. sandwich (for now).

Wonderful. Great Fettucine Alfredo, reasonable prices, excellent mozzarella!! Friendly peeps as well. All positive! Two meals out of one.
Largest Deli Sandwiches Ever!. Giovanni's does a great job with their hot dishes. Incredibly nice people and always eager to help you. But for me, their Deli Sandwiches can't be beat. The Italian Club is packed full of more types and amounts of meat than you could get at Subway if you bought four sandwiches! By far my favorite guilty pleasure. Subway's Jared may balloon back up after eating just one, but he'd be a happy man!

Wonderful family owned restaurant. Everything we ordered was amazing. We ordered the Ruben, meatball sub, fried ravioli, and fried mushrooms. Staff was great and talk to us about the food.
Service was great. Pricing was reasonable. The Italian steak sandwich was a 8/10. The lasagna was a 4/10. I’d come back to try some more items.
Went in for the first time today and absolutely loved everything! We will definitely be coming back soon! Thank you for the delicious food and amazing customer service, our daughter said she gives your restaurant 100 stars ☺️
Lasagna was delicious, not idles were perfectly cooked not to stiff not to soggy, homemade sauce was excellent,talked with the owner while I ate, super friendly guy,a lot of choices on the menu, I look forward to trying some of the sandwiches.

I had the reuben sandwich and my bf had the meatball sandwich. The meatballs and sauce are made in house and tasty! Mine is sliced and grilled to perfection with Swiss cheese and 1000 island dressing. Hot stringy cheese gloriously served to me!
If you have not tried this place and you love Italian deli style foods DO IT!! I WILL BE BACK!
I love these family owned small businesses. The food is usually very good and service friendly. This is exactly what Giovanni's Italian Deli and Pasta is.
I ordered the meatball sandwich after I found out they make their own meatballs. The meatball sandwich was very good, the 3 meatballs covered the whole sandwich (about 8 inches). The meatballs were tender and flavorful. The sauce was great and they put plenty of sauce and cheese on it.
Got my grandson a child spaghetti and he ate all of it with some help from me and my wife. The spaghetti was very good. The sauce was like a gravy, and homemade, it sure tasted like it. The noodles were perfect. Also loved the garlic bread, better than most Italian places. The service was very friendly. This place is very popular with the locals bc there was a steady stream of people coming in. I highly recommend this place.
Great Italian! Meatball sandwich was huge and yummy. Ravioli with meatballs also yummy. Great food. Love small business owners with great customer service too

Not too busy, but they definitely has business going. Not much of a wait, I ordered a Italian club, very thick in beef, and plenty of salami/pepperoni. People behind were keeping busy doing great jobs, the sandwich was great and I will definitely be back.
I have been going to Giovanni's since I was 9 years old and the food is still just as great and the crew super nice. Their sandwiches put the chain places to shame. I never go away hungry from Giovanni's. I actually have leftovers usually. My best recommend, the Giovanni Sub. The olive salad and real Mortadella are the key to it.
Love this place. Thier sub sandwiches are above all others. They stack them full of meat. Puts subway and goodcents to shame. The salt shaker in picture is to show the amount of meat they put on the sandwiches. If you are in the Northland of KC, this is a must place to eat. They also have hot dishes. Friendly staff always.
