I went to Twisted Fresh back in October of 2021, and I ordered the BBQ Chicken Wrap with a side dish of cottage cheese. There were even 3 options for spicy sauces which were Chipotle, Habanero, and Jalapeño. I have to say that this place had great service and a unique concept of food with fresh ingredients and a twisted taste of deliciousness. I personally think if you put any of Twisted Fresh’s spicy sauces on your order your meal would have even more of a “twisted taste”.
Not only did the wraps and bowls have a twisted taste and fresh ingredients, but there was also burgers, sandwiches, salads, tacos, and burritos too. I was surprised to learn that founder of Twisted Fresh had the idea fast-casual dining that offered a gourmet-quality full-flavor experience, while supporting a healthy lifestyle, and this all started the “twisted creations” from Twisted Fresh. Today, Twisted Fresh is a chain of restaurants mostly in the Kansas City metropolitan area and one of their locations in Lawrence, Kansas.
Got the Baja shrimp tacos and would definitely get them again. The fresh pineapple pico was yummy and I loved the crunch of the crispy shell inside the soft flour tortilla. It was super fast service and clean atmosphere. Fun for a quick meal. I wish they offered more sides, but overall great experience!
Great food, very fresh 😁 My daughter is a picky eater and she loved her chicken tacos. Awesome little place 😁
My family and I, while passing through Kansas City, came here on the recommendation of a reader and have no regrets.
The food was a little expensive, and cost $3 more to upgrade to a combo, but worth it.
The Mahi Mahi tacos I ordered were some of the best I ever had. Not spicy, at first, but the more you eat the more spice there is.
Had to come here for lunch and try it out. The food was great, lots of good items on the menu it was hard to decide what to get. I tried the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Chicken sandwich and it was great. The inside was very clean and welcoming and great friendly staff.

VERY fresh ingredients. Everything was incredibly flavorful. BBQ chicken wrap was perfect! Service was fast, even during a lunch rush.
Just tried the Tex Mex wrap today and was impressed! I used to work here and always loved the food, but I also love how they keep updating the menu with new great options.
Always a good lunch or dinner, and still affordable!
We were up for a soccer tournament and we always try new places to eat. This wonderful place came up. We are a family of five who love foods we don't have at home. The out side of the building was very inviting the in side was warm but modern. I also enjoyed the art work they have on the walls and ceiling. The lady who took order was very polite and helpful. She made us feel very welcome and explained any questions my family had about the menu options. She was very patient with kiddos also. The menu was easy to read and had great options for our family. They have tacos, burger and wraps. The kids menu was also good and came with plenty of food for the price. I had the tyi chicken wrap with a honey Sriracha sauce and it was really good. My husband got the carbian jerk wrap and nothing was left. All three of our kids got taco. All three cleaned there baskets. The inside dinning room was clean and smelled good. We will definitely be making another stop in to eat.
Had the Cajun chicken on a salad, chicken was perfectly grilled, avocado, cheese, black beans, onion, corn, tomato with an avocado lime dressing on mixed greens, it was delicious, lots of choices on the menu.
