Yum. Great gelato and about 12-15 varieties to choose from. We mixed cookies and cream with cheesecake (I really loved the latter). A small cup was enough for us to share (or at least all our diets would allow). A nice treat on a warm afternoon.
This location is cute and cozy, but they'll be moving to a new spot in the Power & Light District at the end of the month. Enjoy it while you can, plaza goers.

Maybe Better than ITALY!!!. Hands down the best gelato I've ever had! I've never been to Italy so I can't compare to the gelatos served there but wow, I am so amazed. I have tried so many different places for gelato and always have returned here. The pistachio is absolutely amazing. My mouth is watering just writing about it. AMAZING!!!!!

Best by FAR!!!!!. Friends and I came here for a pre-dinner snack (it was basically like 6 when we came). They have a nice non-dairy, which is nice if you're vegan (I'm not, so I didn't really care for it).. Anyway, the guy behind all the yummy goodness was extremely nice and helpful. He let me have as many samples as I wanted (I asked for about 3), and even gave his opinion on the ones I was sampling.
I first sampled Chocolate with dark chocolate in it. It was very rich and chocolate-y; I enjoyed it a lot. I also tried the tiramisu flavor. If you love tiramisu like I do, you gotta try this. It was simply amazing. However, I didn't end up getting it. Crazy, right?? I actually ended up getting the Cheesecake and the chocolate. The guy said those were his two favorite flavors. The cheesecake was sooo rich and delectable. I HIGHLY recommend getting it, or at least trying it. I promise you won't regret it. It's not too sweet and sugary like you think it would be. I can't quite describe the flavor, but it hit the spot.
The chocolate was just as wonderful. But then again, anything that's chocolate-flavored brightens my day haha
I've passed by this place so many times; I can't believe I've never gone in! Definitely come here if you haven't already. It beats traveling to Oak Park Mall or other gelato places.
Also, they have a classy environment, too! I really want to bring all of my friends here!!!!.
He raved about how much he liked both flavors; I on the other hand, am not a fan. To me, gelato should be very smooth and creamy, this tasted like freezer burned ice cream. They report serving sandwiches, but today, they said they only had egg salad, upon hearing this, a potential customer walked. I worry about this place’s viability, it was the middle of lunch hour on an 80+ degree day and there were only two other customers inside while outside the P&L was crawling with people. If it doesn’t work out here, I hope they will try again, maybe in a more family friendly environment.
